Very easy to follow

I teach piano to beginners and usually don't take students under the age of 6. However, the few parents that have talked me into taking their 6 year old, really appreciate the Faber series of books. The books are age appropriate and the students really enjoy playing the songs. I would recommend this series to anyone thinking about given piano lessons.

I teach from this series exclusively. I find it good for children of all ages, and even adults can manage this series without being too childish. The books are just challenging enough, yet the student zips along happily with each new challenge. The lessons are structured so that there is one new skill that builds upon all the previous lessons, which is why it works so well. No memorizing, the student truly learns and internalizes the material.

Purchased this after recommendation from my daughters piano teacher. It was much cheaper on amazon that at the music school where she takes her piano lessons. Happy with the purchase!

I just started this series with my daughter, age 9. It is a little basic for her age but we are buzzing right through it and I will get much more use with my younger children, when I start teaching them. It gives a great strong foundation to music.

Worked great for my sons piano classes

My son just loves this an addition to the the Primer Level books he's been using in his piano lessons. It's fun for him to practice and play some fun songs too!

As a piano teacher, I'm a big fan of all the Piano Adventures books. The Popular Repertoire book is a nice little break from the Lesson book, but should not be used as the only learning tool.
