Having used 2x SF1000 lights for the last few years I did my homework and decided to upgrade my kit. I purchased this unit from Amazon Warehouse so it didn't come in its original box as it had been assembled and returned, I'm all about getting a good deal so this wasn't an issue. The light itself is great as expected, fully dimmable and perfect for my 1x1x2m tent - rigged at the beginning of 12/12 and very good quality harvest. My only issue is with the detachable driver - this feature was one of the main reasons for choosing this model so I could mount it outside of the tent to help control the inside temperature. Unfortunately the cable isn't long enough to allow for much height adjustment with the driver outside which is frustrating. I did reach out to Spider Farmer to enquire about an extension for it and got a very prompt and warm reply from the customer service team, however they do not manufacture an extension cable - hence the 4 star review. Apart from this issue I'm very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend.

Gets very bright , but doesn't run hot. Great coverage. It could have come with an easier way to hang it. Since the pulley system that comes with it is the only downside, but easily remedied, I implemented my own cables to hang the light. With a 5-year warranty, this makes it the best light for the price. I will see how long it lasts. I am happy with the light for veg; it is perfect. I don't write a lot of reviews, but when a product impresses me, I do. Dollar for dollar, I couldn't find a better value light.

Spider farmer is great. This light works very well. I noticed an immediate difference in my grow.

Only getting four stars because I had some diodes go out. Not giving less because they sent me a new one and it should be here tomorrow and they didn't require me to return the old one.

This is the third full-spectrum grow light I've purchased for my orchids. Though it coast more than my other grow-lights, it has been worth the extra coast. For one thing, the length matches the length of my tables so I don't have as much light drop-off as I do with my shorter grow-light panels. The second feature that I'm thankful for is the ability to adjust the light intensity in discreet increments, unlike many other lights where you only have options of 0-25%-50%-75%-100%. It was worth the extra for this feature, making it easier to fine-tune the light intensity. Spider Farmer's build quality has been excellent on the two lights I've purchased from them. I'm seriously considering replacing my smaller light panels with Spider Farmer G4500 units.
