If you're looking for a quality, well made vernier, look no further. It's Mitutoyo, so comes from a first class reputable company. Capable of 0.05mm reading on internal, external, and plunge measurements. Not got a digital readout, but you should be able to work out vernier readings with a bit of help from Google. Also means you don't need batteries, so it's environmentally friendly! With proper care, this caliper will last a very long time. Simple and reliable.

A gorgeous and well made Vernier Calipers that works perfectly and feels great. This one is accurate to 1/20th of a millimeter (0.05mm) and is manual. I almost got a cheap digital caliper but decided on this in the end. I'm glad I did...it's a joy to use and very easy to get an exact measurement. If you want a very reasonably priced and well made tool...look no further...if I were to have one small criticism it would be that it doesn't come with a storage box. Highly recommended.

Good, precise tool. The only thing is that the movements are perhaps not perfectly smooth, but it still allows for precise measurements.

After wasting money on digital vernier calipers that kept having to be reset to zero after every use, poor accuracy, plus battery drainage, I decided to go for this caliper. Wish I had started with this one then I wouldnt of wasted so much money on the others. It is accurate and STAYS accurate after every use, feels robust and very well made. It is worth every penny more than the digital cheap ones. Only downside as others have stated is there is no solid case for the caliper , hence only four stars. ( but I am ok as I have three cases from the digital ones).

For someone who adores things that are beautifully made, this is the one- shiny, clear markings, smooth action, jaws touch with total precision. The traditional vernier scale takes me back to metalwork lessons at school, and unlike devices with a digital display, you don't find after not using it for a bit that the battery has run down- it has no battery.

Looks good, feels good. Measures accurately. Would be better if it came in a more robust case. I have had a cheep Draper vernier for about 20 years. It stays in my tool bag and gets used relatively frequently. You cannot just leave this in a tool bag it won’t take bumps and scrapes. If you can keep this safe its worth it. Its easier to read and infinitely more accurate.

Es una marca que recomiendo mucho, buscaba un vernier preciso y la marca mitutoyo cumplió mis expectativas. Buen material, excelente graduación numérica. Lo único que podría pedir a los fabricantes que anexaran al producto un estuche fuerte y que impida el paso del polvo para mantener en buenas condiciones.

La verdad que para ser un calibre es algo caro pero siendo mitutoyo sabes que es de calidad y se nota mucho,tanto en el juego que tiene al desplazarse que es nada, como un guante,hasta en las instrucciones de uso. En herramientas de medida siempre vale la pena no ir a lo barato porque así sabes que tus medidas estan hechas con un aparato calibrado,no uno chinorri que solo se ha estampado la regla con divisiones este bien o mal
