Tactics in football: effective pressing strategies (EN)

I was delighted to see a product from such a knowledgeable coach. I mistakenly thought it would show coaching sessions and interactions with players, as opposed to sitting in the stand showing movements on an iPad. Therefore, it was disappointing for me, but maybe for a beginner to coaching, tactics and team management, it could be an asset.

I bought this using a discount code (in return for an honest review) for my partner who is an ex pro and now a coach. In his opinion it is helpful and has been beneficial to him.

This is a very interesting and informational DVD and I feel I have learned a lot and can not wait to try put the tactics into use with my boys football teams who I help coach and hopefully pass the DVD onto the other coaches aswell.I received this product at a discount

I have been a football coach for over 5 years coaching both adults and a childrens team.I found this DVD to be both very informative and engaging. It contains a good variety of tactical exercises that can be applied easily. The DVD contains detailed explanations with comprehensive demonstrations live on the screen. This allows a very thorough understanding of the tactics meaning that even coaches with little or no experience will be able to deliver a professional coaching session aimed at developing the tactical awareness of its players.What is particularly important is the DVD explains why each exercise is being performed and what benefits it brings to the player. These help you to understand the impact of the tactics and how they can help you.The DVD is originally delivered in German however has English an voice over and English subtitles. This does not detract from the quality at all as the translation is very good throughout.I would certainly recommend this for anyone coaching adult and child teams.Kindly note that I received this product at a discounted rate in exchange for an honest, unbiased review which I have provided.

The DVD was very informative, and gave a good insight into Pressing Strategies within Football, it improved my knowledge of the game, and I would feel more able to understand and coach this tactic within a coached session.Manuel Baum was a German football play who is now a DFB Pro Level Coach, and his insight into the game is great to see. He obviously has a significant grasp on the tactics involved in football. He easily explains the pros and cons of a range of tactical choices and variations, and he is able to communicate how and why to choose each of the tactical options available to the team.I would certainly recommend this DVD to any aspiring player as well as young and developing coaches, to give them ideas on how, why, and when to choose a pressing tactic in order to win the ball. Manuel is able to explain these complex tactical choices in a simple to understand way, and quickly enable you to apply this new knowledge.I received this DVD at a discount, but I feel that is forms a central part of my Football coaching DVD collection.

I bought this DVD for my 10 years old grandson, who’s football crazy. He, his mum and dad, and his two sisters are all Watford season ticket holders, travelling about 90 miles each way to every home game. He and his sisters love having their photos taken with various members of the Watford team, before returning home to watch it all again on TV.My grandson also plays in a youth football team on Saturday mornings, and practices during a weekday evening; he’s running out of space to display all his trophies. He’s been invited to play for his local Town Football Club too. When I saw this video and read the reviews I thought this would be great for him, to improve his tactical skills in his own time, at his leisure,and complement the excellent coaching he already receives.I often go to watch him, both training and in matches (yelling encouragement on the sideline), and I attend his presentation evenings, but I have to admit that I haven’t actually watched this video because football doesn’t interest me! However, I’m assured by my grandson and his father that this DVD is brilliant, and will help him no end. They’ve both watched it over and over again, so maybe this DVD will help him achieve his dream of becoming another Wayne Rooney!I bought this __ at a discounted price in return for giving an honest, unbiased opinion of it. I enjoy providing potential purchasers with my thoughts and experiences to (hopefully) help them to make an informed decision about a product they are considering buying. Like several previous reviewers, I bought this and after about 15', it quit. Refused to play on multiple DVD players and computers. DVD looked in good condition, just think it was crap production. Have several other dvds from X Sport that have been great but all I got was 15' of where to line players up and then 30' of nothing. Don't waste your money.

The dvd was faulty and so I had to return it

The disc only plays the first 14 minutes. Tried it on multiple devices, same defect. Very disappointing.
