This kit fits the old style Blitz cans with retractable spouts with a modification. You will need to buy a 1-1/2” x 1-1/4” slip joint washer so that this will fit without leaking. There are two collars included in this kit. One with a finer thread and one with a larger gapped thread. The Blitz cans I have, which are over 25 years old, fit with the larger threaded collar but it is a bit too big and leaves a gap where the spout meets the can. I figured if I could find the right size gasket it would fit without leaking, so I went to the local hardware store and got a two pack of washers for two bucks — they fit perfectly. Absolutely NO leaks which is great because the old spouts that came with the can are absolutely useless. Not only did the spout leak all over when you are pouring them, destroyed the height adjustment numbers off my riding mower btw, but the cap leaked when I filled them. After all these years I was going to get new cans because the of the crummy spouts that came with them, but was glad I could just replace the spouts since there is nothing wrong with the cans. Plus, 2 gallon cans are as expensive as the 5 gallon cans, but are much easier to lift. This kit it is a great value. You get two sturdy flexible spouts and four collars — two with fine threads and two with larger gapped threads ensuring a fit for a variety of cans. You also get an assorted variety of vent caps. mine were fine so I didn’t need them but it’s nice to have just in case, and as a bonus, a drill bit for the vent cap in case you don’t have one. Only negative is that I had to buy the extra washers and wish it would have come with the kit.

The nozzle is fine for what it fits. I have older cans that it does not fit, but it fits a newer can (bought at Walmart) that has a huge green button that is almost impossible to push in and still control the can. Still searching for nozzles for older cans. Sometimes a nozzle will fit, but you must use the old nut; works only sometimes, more often not.

This product solves the problem with gas cans you buy today, or the past decade, that have anti spill spouts which is impossible to use for mowers and any device that has tank reset or hard to fill location. Great product that solves the problem at a great price.

These replacement gas can spouts fit and function perfectly, there are no leaks and they fit tightly. They were well packaged and came with all the described and needed pieces, which included the gaskets and also included the drill bit needed to drill the holes for the vent plugs. They look well made, but I've only had them for a few weeks so I can't speak to their longevity. I did purchase a second set of 3, and they're good also. I recommend these.
