Exceeded Expectations
I've been Chromebook curious for a while - fate intervened when I got out of bed on Prime Day and stepped on my iPad- and then subsequently found that Jeff Bezos had reduced the price of the base Duet 3 to less than what it would cost to replace the screen on my now stricken 5 year old iPad. It was as if it was meant to be. I've been very impressed - my needs for a Goldilocks sized device that fills the gap between my Android Phone and Windows laptop are admittedly pretty basic - essentially little more than email, browsing, You Tube and basic on the road photo editing, but I've been very happy with this. It's an excellent partner to an Android phone when you need a bit more keyboard and screen real estate - perhaps less so if you're bought into the Apple ecosystem which I've managed to escape from. Build quality is really good for the price - excellent rather than really good even. The screen is good quality and the keyboard great to use. The fabric base that's bonded to the keyboard part and magnetic detachable to the screen part isn't to everyone's taste (ie not mine!) but that's subjective - but it does have the benefit of helping to stop it sliding around when on a hard surface. I was concerned that 4GB RAM/64GB Storage wouldn't be enough, particularly given that higher spec versions are available, but it seems fine given my limited needs and I haven't had any issues with it slowing down with multiple apps and browser tabs open - it's nice and smooth and responsive, at least as good as a mid spec Windows laptop. I wish it has an iPad style home button/fingerprint sensor but I'm getting used to it. I wanted a small machine that I could use for travel - most of the other small screen Chromebooks I looked at had large bezels around the screen which made them almost the size of a 14" screen laptop - which defeats the purpose for what I wanted it for, but this is the size of a base iPad which is what I wanted. So all said and done I'm pretty happy. I had little to lose given the giveaway Prime Day price and that I needed a new tablet sized device, but I'd gladly pay twice what I paid given how well it's worked out.

One of the best tablets you can get
A very versatile Chromebook. I use it for entertainment and work. The screen is really good, great brightness and resolution. Being able to install any Linux app that has an ARM64 version is a big plus, enabling me to use it for work with little issues. Zoom is the only problematic app, having to use it via the browser, and the experience could be better, but that's no fault of Lenovo. The keyboard is really good, with short key travel and good feedback. Was able to use it for software development with no issues. Performance is generally good. I was surprised that 4GB was enough for most use cases. There are occasional slowdowns, but it never felt laggy or outright slow. I gave it 4 stars because, as others mentioned, the 4/64 does not come with a pen, which is a real shame, but doesn't detract much from its functionality.

Amazing!
I bought two of these to replace traditional laptops which I had bought thinking they would be superior. They were not, the Lenovo brand is what we use at work so I knew it was quality, but I was gobsmacked at how amazing these are. They look and feel like they belong in the £500 price bracket. For my kids homework, these make logging on and getting on with it an absolute breeze. Intuitive and with a touch screen to boot. They are weighty but not heavy - I mean they are solid built, but still small enough and light enough for a school bag. They are literally the perfect size. They keyboard is perfect and the tablet is supported by a pull out stand which works really well. It all comes apart to use it as a tablet. Honestly, I cannot fault it in any way.

Duet as it should. Serves as both Laptop and Tablet
We decided to get the Lenovo Ideapad Duet 3 11 inches Chromebook Laptop for my Daughter’s 8 years old Birthday gift. I picked it because it is detachable. It can both serve as a Laptop or tablet. It also has high performance,, the screen quality and size is very great and easy to connect.

Not impressed
I understand this is cheap, and the fact I can buy a laptop / tablet for this price is great. But the functionality is a little off: sometimes the screen is overly sensitive to the point the gentlest touch closes your app, whereas other times you have to press multiple times to warrant any response. I also don't understand why the default touch pad settings are inverted and different from the established norm, it's odd and requires learning a new way of navigating the device. The syncing of devices seems good on paper, allowing you to almost instantaneously connect your pixel phone with the tablet, however if either of your devices has poor connection to the internet, it suddenly grinds everything to a halt, making it frustrating as it's key selling point is entirely reliant on another devices status

Great 2 in 1 laptop
I bought this for uni and it does everything I need it to and a good size. The screen is bigger than a regular tablet which makes it great for streaming. It looks amazing too. The price is fantastic especially when it is on most other sites for a much higher price :)

Basic but useful
Very nice looking, sturdy tablet. Case and stand are good quality. The tablet itself is fairly basic but I expected that for the price. Great for Netflix and video calls and general every day use. I wouldn’t rely on it for heavy gaming or anything. The only issue I have is the volume, the sound is ridiculously low and I have been struggling to connect headphones to it but otherwise a handy little tablet.
