I really like this little thing! It fits perfectly in my purse, and I've used the flashlight function several times and the battery is still fully charged. The flashlight is wonderful and bright. I tested the stun gun on myself several times, because I want to know what I'm working with. It feels like a cluster of bee stings - it burns, hurts, prickles, and stings. It worked just as well through denim jeans and also an undershirt and sweatshirt - it feels the same as on bare skin. I really appreciate that it doesn't scream. Nobody around here pays attention to that kind of thing/noise. I'll handle the screaming, this little beauty can bring the pain. It emits a truly concerning "BzZzZzzZzz" electric crackle that would go a long way towards convincing a person or animal that I'm not worth the trouble. This is a great value for your money and helps my husband to not worry when I go to work in the dark morning. Ok, if someone is cranked up on drugs, or really, really wants to hurt you, this probably won't actually do too much; not gonna lie to you like that. But it will absolutely make the average mugger or animal move along.

Overall, happy with this purchase. It feels solid. Hoping not to run into the issues other stun gun reviews reported. The weakest part seems to be the rocker switch, so I always recommend testing it every now and then. Also not going crazy switching it between light and stun. I got this primarily for dog walks in case of other dogs or coyotes. Liked it so much bought a second for my son. Wish it had a holster, but the pocket clip is solid! But the weirdest thing happened to me the other day! I took it out of my pocket to find 2 of the 4 battery indicator light covers popped off (middle two in pic). Fortunately I found them in my pocket and took a tiny screwdriver to push them back in place. Odd design since they are only plugs and not a one piece on the other side. Hoping this doesn't become an ongoing problem.

I'd love to say it shocks very well, but I have not found any will volunteers to test it on. When you push the button it sound like it will definitely hurt though. The flashlight works well, and it is a nicely disguised self defense item

It doesn't matter what comes across your path, this stun gun will get their attention. Just the sound will deter pretty much anything.

I use the stun gun on myself and let me tell you it's powerful I am pleased with it and it will do the job for self-defense
