Lightweight battery powered strimmer with metal blades as well as plastic ones. This has really surprised me as to how capable it is.Easily thrashed it,s way through my weeds and grass next to fences and walls, the metal blade meant no stopping to fix line as on my old one, the blade took a few dings on the walls but was easily re sharpened with a file.The instructions are poor, too small to be viewed easily and some chinglish words but never the less easy to assemble .Spare blades are available from Amazon too should you need them.All in all good value and really useful.

This arrived today. Surprisingly lightweight. I hadn't expected the additional tools...secateurs and a blade for cutting through thicker stems and branches. Fairly easy to assemble, although I used one if the online videos to help with this. The tiny instruction leaflet is translated from some other language into an odd form of Englush and the print is too small for me to read. 2 batteries included, both of which had a lot of charge in them. Downsude...the plastic blades don't last long as they are quite thin and brittle.

Great bit of kit loads of extras plastic blades for light strimming only Metal blades for long grass and thick undergrowth Battery life 45 minutes, light weight no noise and doesn’t cover you in cuttings which my petrol strimmer does. Unbelievable value hope it continues to work time will tell

We were sick of replacing the cord on a standard strimmer and toyed with the idea of a bladed one for a long time. Browsing and scrolling the internet, this one came up time and time again.the rotary blades, the squared edge blades and the tapered edge blades are all great and the addition of 2 of each is fab. The other accessories included in the set are an added bonus for any beginner gardener. Our garden backs onto woods, and we have a lot of holly, bramble and thick stemmed bushes. This zipped through with total ease and the bonus of no cords is even better. We alternate the batteries when we use the cutter so that one battery is charged while one is used. We got it all straight out of the box on delivery day to give it a go and as mentioned we are super satisfied. Easy assembly, easy direction and super easy cutting with that super added bonus again of no cords!! You won't be disappointed! We have a standard-sized but long garden, the battery power lasted the whole first use and that was constant cutting with minimal breaks over a 2.5-hour period. Even then the battery wasn't fully empty. The correct charging and correct usage will help to keep the kit running smoothly! Honestly, 5 out of 5 stars isn't enough it exceeded our expectations tenfold. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Super - Duper!!

Assembling the strimmer is best done by watching the video as the instructions are rather confusing and in very small type. In operation it does a good job and the battery life is excellent. However, the description is no very accurate. The motor is described as 500 watts which seemed amazingly high. With a 24 volt battery this would imply a current of 500/24 which is approx. 40 amps! If this is correct then the battery at 2 amp. hours (therefore 24 x 2 = 48 watts) would last only a couple of minutes. I think it more likely that the motor is 500mW or half a watt which would give a more realistic figure.A second concern is over the method of attachment of the blades. There are lugs on the disk they fit onto that locate in holes in the blade. A single nut then secures the blade to the disk. Any shock caused by the blade hitting any obstruction would cause wear and eventual failure of these small locating lugs and I suspect that this disk will be the first thing to fail - I just hope it lasts a reasonable time and that the supplier can provide replacements. Maybe they should include a spare in the kit rather than the poor quality safety glasses, gloves and the folding saw.My concern is how long this strimmer will last but while it is still working it does do an excellent job!

Easy to assemble, lightweight and compact, good value for money!.

Only used once so far but I had an overgrown area with thick brambles and weeds and the blade made light work of it.Its possibly a little cheapish in appearance but it does a great job.I did have to tighten the blade part way through but other than that it's spot on.
