My best buy so far for my 5 year and 7 year old kids
The look of it makes one feel like it’s meant for adult. It indeed is for the reading level but My kids love this book too. I read to them and they enjoy all the mammal varieties in India. My son wanted more than just “lion tiger deer” and specifically Indian animals. When I searched Indian mammal books for kids there was hardly any.I went through the sample and found it likeable even for a child because it came with pictures and believe me it’s a hit with my kids. They love it and more so because of the picture. I read out for them and they enjoy the content too. My favourite part is the local names for the species.Worth the price for the content and the photos!

Best Field Guide of Indian Mammals
Vivek Sir has done a tremendous job in this book, palettes are awesome and oozes top notch quality. all the info written is easy to read and understand and you can also use it with the kids to teach them about our animal world from very young age and I am sure they would be very keen to learn from this book

Best Book on Indian Mammals - Get your copy!
I am glad to have bought this book. Lucid writing, great insights, excellent photographs and indeed a field guide with the needed depth. I quickly read through some key animals that I was immediately interested in i.e Elephants, Tigers and Leopards Some very insightful field information in identifying the mammals by learning how to know their age, interpreting scat, habitats, physical changes in animal based on season, interpreting tracks, interpreting feed sites etc. etcMy only regret is I bought "The secret lives of Indian Mammals" by the same author earlier. Once you buy Indian Mammals: Field Guide, you don't need any other book.
