I only needed it for costume jewelry use, and it's great for that purpose.It's a nice weight, shines well, and did it job. I would not, however, buy this if you intend to wear it on a regular basis as this is gold plated and is bound to dull over time. I'm giving it 5 stars because it served my purpose well and it was affordable.

Gold plating comes off after using the cloth.
After using the supplied cleaning cloth, all the gold plating came off. Returning now.
