It tastes pure and minimally processed without any fillers. It is probably organic but the USDA seal costs a lot of money. I would rather get this high quality jaggery for less. This jaggery is just raw unprocessed cane sugar so you can't expect perfect sifted powder - it will cost more. For those of you who are of Hispanic descent - this is basically Panela powder. Because of the minimal processing it retains many minerals that are removed to make white sugar. I Love it in my morning coffee- so good. can also sprinkle it on top of buttered toast along with a sprinkle of cinnamon! Yum!! Enjoy!

I use this now instead of brown sugar. Can be a little lumpy but I still works fine and tastes great.

Love this project but multiple times use it in cookies and other sweet treats. Definitely recommend.

Ended up throwing this away, used it once and it just didn’t compare to jaggery that I’ve had somewhere else.

This is a great product. The flavor is robust and has only pleasant notes; there is no fermented smell like I've experienced in other jaggery brands. Mostly the texture is nicely granular, and it forms some lumps in the bag but this is expected because there are no anti-caking agents used. It's really easy to mash the soft lumps as necessary or they will just melt in your cooking or beverages.
