I bought this for my 9 year old grandson. He LOVES it! He says he can play with it all day. Best toy I have gotten for him in a long time. Great stocking stuffer!

Great toy for anyone. I had gotten my granddaughter a traditional yo-yo, making it return is a big learning curve. This one eliminates that. The return spring is fairly strong, so throwing it takes a bit of practice.

My kids love this yo-yo. It makes them feel like they are so good at a yo-yo even though they don't really know what to do. This was our 2nd yo-yo of this kind. Both got knots in the string which got stuck in the yo-yo so it doesn't work anymore. The yo-yo was so inexpensive, I don't really mind, but I wish they had lasted longer.

We have purchased quite a few yo-yos and this one has by far been the best. It is easy to use and so far has the string has not gotten tangled up.

My 3.5-year-old daughter was BEGGING me for a yoyo after seeing one in a book. I read on a message board that this was the best one for such a young kid because even the auto-return yoyos still need you to kindof know what you're doing. It was great when I first gave it to her. She was barely able to throw it a few inches, but it came back to her hand every time. But then she dropped it, it smacked the wood floor with a crack, and then it would only retract halfway. While throwing it experimentally a few times after this, the string got all tangled up in the axles and it wouldn't move at all. I pried open the two halves with a pair of pliers through the string hole to get it untangled and see if I could figure out a way to fix it (it was broken anyway so no big loss) but there wasn't any obvious way to open the inner part. Since it was still retracting part of the way, I just cut the string shorter, closed it with duct tape, and tied the ring on to the new end of the string. That lasted for another 5 minutes until it stopped retracting at all and was just a plastic ball on a string. Now it is a piece of trash in a landfill. My husband convinced me to try ordering one more to see if this one was just a fluke since they're so cheap, but I'm not holding my breath. She might just need to wait until she's older to enjoy yoyos.

Yoyo was shipped with cardboard container, but not sealed. The yoyo had signs of use and scuffed in spots. We lucked out getting red (5 year olds favorite color) and was afraid if we returned it we wouldn't get red again.

My child has anxiety and fidgets. She struggled with an actual yoyo for years, but always wanted to use one. This has been the perfect answer, and she hasn't put it down. Has mastered tricks, brought her joy, and given her confidence since she always wanted to yoyo. I had one of these as a kid, and I'm so glad these are available again. And this is a great price! Highly recommend these. I'm ordering another one! Awesome patterns! Tip: Make a loop with the string and circle to put around the middle finger. Don't knot the loop, so the string will still fully retract.

My 6yr old had been asking for a yo-yo and had a hard time with a real one so Santa put this one in his stocking and it’s been a lot of fun. He isn’t exactly gentle with toys but this one has been holding up well - despite other reviews saying they broke easily, I have had great luck with this one so far. I even have a 2yr old that picked it up and threw it down on the hardwood floor and I figured it would have cracked but luckily it survived. Hoping it lasts awhile because my son loves it (and we will be more careful to keep it away from the toddler lol) but I personally love this thing!!

This product worked exactly as promoted. Hours of fun for our 8 year old.
