smart looking light & does the job well

Great and bright light Ideal for bathrooms. The light makes a water drop noise till it heats up fully, giving you a false impression of a water leak.

OK, these look the part but if purchasing the warm white (3000K) version for a bathroom be advised that this is not a "Fully Sealed" as is described by the manufacturer as there is what looks like a cooling vent (arrowed on attached picture) and after the light unit panel part is twisted on, there is a 5mm gap between the ceiling and the frame of the light unit. This will undoubtedly allow any steam in a bathroom to find it's way and for water to settle between the ceiling an light unit making it quite dangerous with it being a full 240v light fitting. I have still fitted it to my bathroom ceiling however but have used bathroom/sanitary silicone to fill in the gap. This may well prevent the "vent" doing it's job of cooling but time will tell! What I find odd is that I also bought the Daylight 5000w one at the same same (from same advert page) for a "Photo Room" and they sent a 6500K version, which anyone would assume is the same light, but with a different temperature/colour! WRONG! They look similar from the front but the rear of the lamp is totally different in that it IS a fully sealed unit and doesn't have the same clean-looking frame! Hey manufacturer, check your stock as these should not be sold as "Bathroom Light" such low IP Rating or (or no IP rating at all)

Can someone contact me please, as this has been installed for 3 weeks now and has developed an annoying flicker.

Slightly concerned when I unpacked it as to quality but have to say easy to install and super light for a bathroom bright and warm in a flat to ceiling design!

This was deceptively easy to install and gives a bright, uniform light across all corners of the room

But it is too bright.

Bought three of these. One stopped working after two months. I’m going to have to replace it so it matches the other two. Hopefully they will hold up.
