Review: really fun to read - This is a fabulous book, really fun to read, the pictures on the page are bold, bright, colourful, fun and inviting. The story is true to the classic fairy tale even though in this story the three little pigs in the each have a name - Horace, Boris and Percy but this makes the story more interesting and exciting for the child. The "big bad wolf" words in the book are displayed in a slightly bolder text, which emphasises on the repeated word to encourage recognition and repetition on the repeated words. Lovely very early intro into sounds because in the story when the pigs are building the house of straw they say "pat-pat-pat" and "tra-la-la" when building the house of sticks. I enjoy reading this book and my son loves having it read to him. I will be buying more of the fairy tales from this author as the really are worth the money. Review: Keeps traditional story and a MUST have version for all young children. - Perfect traditional tales for 3 year olds! I have been looking for a decent version of the old tales for a long long time! Most decent ones are out of print now. As a early years teacher I am pretty (VERY) fussy about books. I was really really impressed with how well written these tales are - I now have four different ones in the series. Still keeps all the catchphrases we know and love, can be kept simple or loads to elaborate on with text, voices, illustrations, and lovely use of language, rhyme, alliteration etc etc etc! Even my husband enjoyed bedtime stories with these! Watching our little boy enraptured with these tales has been a real joy. THANKYOU!!!

absolutely love this!
ordered this as the illustrations looked great and because it was just so cheap. when it arrived i was blown away by the quality, size and look of the whole book! it is a lot larger than i thought it would be which is perfect. the pages aren’t too thick but also aren’t too thin, they won’t rip too easy when the kids get hold of it. the colours and pictures throughout the book are amazing, the story is written so well and they didn’t miss a thing out. will be getting as many of these books from the collection as i can get my hands on, really happy with it.

Love it.
My 3 year old son loves this. He kept talking about big bad wolves so I figured this book would be very appreciated and I wasn't wrong. He loves the story, which I was happy to find is in keeping with the original (I find a lot of old stories have been very tamed over the years). Great illustrations that kept him very engaged. Big thumbs up from us!

Traditional story, fab book
Wanted the traditional story of the 3 little pigs for my 2 year old great nephew, where the wolf huffs and puffs and the pigs say not by the hair on my chinny chin chin etc. Great book, good size, lovely pages, lovely pictures. Its going to be a firm favourite

Very popular with my two year old
My two year old LOVES this book! She loves it SO much that I'm now sick of it (not because it isn't great...which it is...but because I've had to read it every single night before bedtime for three weeks running!!) Saying that, I do skip a couple of pages at the end where the wolf gets boiled alive and change the ending for my toddler to ''...and because he couldn't blow the house down, the wolf just went away!''

Lovely book beautifully illustrated
This is an absolutely delightful book. It takes a classic straightforward story and injects life into it through the energetic illustrations. A really fun read that stands up to repeated readings. It also doesn't have as dark and ending as other tellings of the story have. Well worth the money.

I like this version of the story that the wolf runs away after getting his bottom burned. The other books would usually say that the pigs “killed” the big bad wolf. For a toddler, this story is much better and suitable.

The Three Little Pigs has become a bedtime favorite in our house! My daughter absolutely loves the story—she gets so excited every time the Big Bad Wolf comes huffing and puffing. The simple, repetitive language keeps her engaged and makes it fun for her to “read along” with me, even though she’s still learning. The message about hard work, clever thinking, and perseverance is easy for kids to understand, and the illustrations (in our version) are colorful and charming. It’s one of those books that brings a lot of joy, giggles, and even a little suspense. It’s been so sweet to watch her fall in love with a story I remember from my own childhood. Highly recommend this book for any young reader or as a special bonding read with your child!
