I have only ever used this product twice. I bought a smaller kit with six nude/taupe/black colors. I thought maybe I could figure this out since I'm obviously not a professional but have carefully paid attention to their techniques over the last decade of getting nails done consistently. The first time I use the small kit I managed to do them once, not very well and felt it was time consuming so I put the kit away and hadn't used it since. Again, I'm a beginner lol. Well fast forward to a draining experience at the nail salon a few weeks ago that sent me straight to Amazon to order the BIG KIT from Modelones! The one with all the colors. It shipped super fast, no delays. The colors are EVERYTHING a person could want. It was like opening up a Sephora eyeshadow pallette! So pretty and options to be muted or bold! Now - I rated 4 stars for beginners because there is a learning curve. I read several reviews that said they did their nails in 20-30 mins or less, and that is simply not true. I could see it possibly being true if you were applying to someone else though. That said, I took my time, but tried to maintain a decent pace and read the instructions carefully as well as watched a few youtube videos for tips/tricks specific to this brand. I used the electric teal blue color and it is beautiful. I have received multiple comments on the color and how pretty they look. I rated ease of use 5 stars because the instructions are very straight forward and easy to follow. I believe a 9/10 year old could catch on quick! 5 stars on longevity as well! The finish is HARD as a rock!! These nails are not going anywhere. They stay nice and glossy/shiny, and the top coat dries in a matter of a minute or two. They haven't chipped, bent, broken, separated from the nailbed, lifted, etc. and I am going on 2.5 weeks. I feel like they will last at least a month probably longer, which is great for those that like to longer between salon visits vs every 2 weeks or so. I will probably only go back to the nail salon for pedicures from now on. I'm very rough on/with my hands too, using harsh cleaning supplies, and remodel around the house. This kit is truly a wonderful investment and I believe my technique will improve over the next 2-3 more times! It's also important to note that I NEVER leave reviews lol and that this company didn't pay me, send me anything for free, sponsor or anything of the such.

As a mom of 5 daughters I can’t see paying $95 for a set of artificial nails. I bought a $10 Modelones kit to use on my natural nails about 2 months ago to try them out. After a week with them on I was paged out to a fire covering a few acres in the country. After 4 hours of fighting the fire I went home and figured my nails would be done for. The ends were a little worn down from the work like any other nails would do, but they were good enough that I filed the ends then added a shiny top coat and they looked beautiful again. I was completely sold on them. I bought nail tips and this kit and absolutely love the colors and quality! Filling them is easy and takes maybe 10-15 minutes. A full set takes me maybe 30 minutes to apply tips, dip, filing and everything. Now my older 3 daughters want their nails done by Mama too. If you’re hesitant, don’t be. Watch a YouTube video on it then do your nails. You won’t regret it. I absolutely love mine!! I’d give this kit 10 stars if I could. The only thing I’d suggest is if you like them extra shiny is to get a shiny top coat like “Olive & June super glossy top coat” and apply it before you add the cuticle oil at the end.

It was pretty easy to use so long as you follow the instructions very closely...like, to the letter. The top coat I got was not great. It separated and got really weird shortly after application (see photos with dark red nails for reference). I bought an Essie gel top coat locally and that totally made all the difference in the world with round 2. The darker colors were not quite as pictured either. Particularly the mauve, it's more of a dusty pink than a dark mauve (see 1st multi colored nail photo for reference). Great quality powders overall though. I'll keep using them, especially the color changing powder and several of the glitters.

Love this! They seem very glossy and durable so far. It's pretty easy and even easier when you get the hang of it. I also did my sister's and my 2 year old niece and I honestly think this was easier to do on a toddler than painting nails with normal nail polish. Everything dries really quick and so far the colors have come out great. The blemishes are 100 operator error as it was my first time. I'm very impressed and I don't think I will ever use normal polish again. I do recommend however getting a full sized file/buff block. They send one but it's pretty small. Great kit with clear instructions

I ordered this product after it went viral on TikTok. I was sick of spending soo much money on dip manicures that I didn’t end up being happy with. This kit has so many colors and it’s easy to use once you get the hang of it. BUT I was thrown off once I was using the applicator and top gel THE SMELL was making my eyes water. You could just tell this stuff didn’t feel safe. After doing some research of course one of the active ingredients is ETHYL ACETATE, a known carcinogen in the beauty industry. The ingredients on this product claim to have non toxic chemicals. LIES. ETHYL ACETATE: This solvent is derived from ethanol and is one of the most common ingredients found in non-acetone-based nail polish removers. However, it’s a potential irritant that has been linked to both neurological problems and cancer with prolonged exposure. Why can’t we ever have anything nice

I started doing my nails with gel polish but never felt like my nails were strong enough and the polish would start peeling whithen days. I wanted to try nail dip and I've been satisfied with other products from this brand. The first application was so much easier then I thought it would be and my nails look great! My nails are strong and finally growing! I'm almost 2 weeks into my manicure and I don't have any peeling or chips in the color. The only downside is the pots of powder are pretty small. They work well with my short nails but I'm not sure how well it will work with longer nails or nail extensions. I would highly recommend this kit to any beginner who wants to explore nail dip!

I was worried this was going to tough to use, the small pots of dip powder were going to be too little for the money, and I was worried they wouldn't last - I WAS WRONG. This stuff is great - it was way easier to use than I thought (just make sure you don't paint the base anywhere you don't want powder) and it went way faster for me on my first try than I expected. I did 3 coats of powder on each nail and followed the directions exactly and it was perfect. They feel super durable too and not quite as thick as professional dip, but if they last, then I prefer the slightly less thick. This is only day 2 with them done but I washed a lot of dishes in some hot AF water and they are still perfect. I bought a separate nail buffer (buffed my plain nails before and buffed the powder nails smooth after the activator step) which was essential, but otherwise, this kit is all you need and the colored powder jars, while small, seem like you can get several manicures out of each! WELL worth the money. This was $39.99 when I bought it after seeing it on tiktok and now it's $49.99 - I would absolutely pay $50 for this. 10/10
