These are brilliant. Takes a couple of attempts to suss out lining up the lasers etc. but they work so well. Easy to set up and take down. Mobile. Would highly recommend

Unfortunately, like some other reviewers, I’m experiencing the same issue where the laser fails to register when I pass through the first beam. I’ve even tried walking slowly through it, but it only detects me about 1 in 10 times. I believe this could be an amazing piece of equipment if it worked as intended, but I’m disappointed. I’ll be returning it for a refund.

For the price I paid for this product, I expected much better. It works, just about. But it struggles to record time and I have to adjust the placings of the main console to ensure it captures the start and finish times. The main console is poorly constructed and I'm sure there is loose wiring in there. I have to take the batteries out after use otherwise it turns itself on. Overall, I am disappointed so far with this product

These worked reasonably well to start with but controller centre drains battery even when switched off. The start / stop gates have to be lined up really precisely with gaps of approx 80cm… more than 80cm and it fails to work. Having to replace batteries very often, and yet it mis reads. Not very impressed

I bought this timing gate just over 2 months ago. Unfortunately, I was not able to test sooner on the track due to numerous injuries. Now that I've tested it, it just does not work. The timer starts ok, but automatically stops after about 1 second... and this has been happening repeatedly. Just for reference, the "Finish" gates are set up 30 metres away, so there's no way I'm covering that distance in around 1 second!!

For every recorded sprint, it misses 3 or 4. Really good potential but you can't possibly sprint maximally while thinking about triggering it

The equipment is not fit for purpose: The timing clock is very difficult to read and impossible to read in sunshine. I have tested the gates over 20m / 25m / 30m they would not work over 20m distance. Would not always Start / stop the clock even at 20m. Sorry to say it was £147 thrown away and I urge anyone else, please do not buy.

On arrival the time unit did not work , but after some mucking around I found the battery connection was faulty, so I just put some tin foil on one end and it worked fine. The build quality is pretty average but it actually performs quite well. I would of been happy to pay an extra $50 for a more robust unit. (I may even replace the time unit case myself sometime) Difficult to see the display on any angle, from a distance its ok. Otherwise easy to use and works fine.
