This is a great steamer pot that I use for browning meat and poultry and cooking soups, and steaming salmon, and several other things, it's well made and easy to clean. Works great on my induction cooktop.

I bought the Mockins steamer to replace the Rachel Ray steamer I bought at Bed bath and Beyond. I had to throw the Rachel Ray pot away after I accidentally allowed the water to boil down to nothing and the cheap Teflon coating peeled up sending toxic fumes throughout the house! I was misled in Rachel Ray's product description which claims it has an enamel coating... I assumed this meant the inside was ceramic enamel but it is actually referring to the enamel color on the outside of the pot. After doing a LOT of research this time I decided on the Mockins steamer. The stainless coating is high quality so food doesn't stick. Handles and lid are well made. Good price. We went back to Amazon to order a Mockins steamer for my stepmother as well but it is no longer available as the single 3 piece set (I searched other sites too, can't find it available anywhere) It is, however, available at Amazon as part of a whole pots and pans set - which I'm considering because the quality is just that good. Makes cooking more fun and clean up easier. Maybe I'll buy the whole set for myself and simply give the extra steamer to my stepmother hehe :)

I’ve used the Mockins 3 Piece Premium Heavy Duty Stainless Steel Steamer Pot Set daily for over a month now, and it is an excellent design built to last. 7 years ago I would boil chicken or fish everyday and eat raw vegetables. Then a friend gave me a rice cooker with steamer basket. I used the rice cooker a couple times, but used the steamer daily. And discovered vegetables steamed were easier to eat/digest, and fish/poultry taste better steamed opposed to boiling. The Mockins 3 Piece Premium Heavy Duty Stainless Steel Steamer Pot Set was an upgrade to the aging rice cooker/steamer. The main 3 quart saucepan heats up fast on low/medium heat and excellent for occasional tasks like boiling eggs. The main feature is the 2 quart steamer insert which is big enough to steam both vegetables and meat at the same time. The finish is slick and they are solid. I wash them after each use, so maintaining the shine is easy. Mockins 3 Piece Premium Heavy Duty Stainless Steel Steamer Pot Set is high quality and a pleasure to use daily.

This is the first specific steamer I have ever purchased. I read a lot of reviews before purchasing. This one is not huge, but larger than I expected. It was easy to use. Unfortunately, I dropped the lid and the handle knob broke into several pieces. I was able to glue it back together and this was obviously my own fault, but I was disappointed that the plastic handle was so fragile. It is easy to drop a very hot lid, I think everyone has done it - my other cookware knobs seem to be a little more durable. However, the lid itself did not break or crack. If I was not able to glue the knob, I'm not sure if I would have been able to continue to use the lid. So - if you don't plan to drop the lid - this is a near perfect steamer! :-)

I was using one of those little steamer baskets which really fit any pan but has all these little parts to it! It broke after many uses and I could not get it clean properly so....I went looking for a better one and found this! This is really great, every household should have one of these. All you do is boil the water in the bottom pan, choose which veggies you're gonna steam, I choose broccoli, carrots and spinach all in there at once and I don't have to chop off the ends of the spinach, everything fits! Comes out GREAT!!! All you do when you're done steaming is get a dish you're gonna put your stuff in and just dump your stuff in that dish, voila! That little one! UG! I used to burn myself, could not get it out of the pan, hot water would be splashing my legs! LOL! This is wonderful, so glad I got it! When I'm done steaming, I dump out the hot water and add cool water and after around 30 minutes I wash everything. I don't let the flame go over the sides of the pan, I don't believe this is good for any pan but this cleans up nice. I love it!

I am very happy that i chose this steamer because its works great, very easy to clean and good quality. For me quality is very important because i steam food for my baby so i want to make healthy food and when i was checking for a steamer i saw some plastic automatic steamer and the idea was good but my worry was i don't know what quality of plastic is that and plastic is made by chemicals that's what i think and how long the quality will be good so i chose not to buy plastc one but about still i believe that it will last very long if you maintain right way and specific this one you will love it for sure. The price is really good for the quality. 😀 the one more important part i liked about this the service is so good i got my product very next day in the morning which surprised me i didn't have to wait at all and pacaging was good i think every saler should have this amazing service that customer can get the benefit and feel happy. I don't think i have anything to say negetive but good. Thank you so much for this amazing product.

I can use it to steam potatoes, sweet potatoes or other vegs. Without the second layer, I can just use it to make soup. It serves multiple purposes. Right size. Perfect. Worth my money.

These pots work as advertised. Stainless steel is stainless steel. If people that are having problems with these buy more expensive stainless steel cookware I believe they will have the same result. Use proper technique and you will have no problem. My only complaint is the 4.2 qt. sauce pan doesn't have a lid. Luckily I found a lid that fits from an old canning pot. Great price and no more forever chemicals flaking off.
