This product is super just like a vacuum cleaner

A small and simple device to use. The pump has one on/off button as a control and plugs into a UK socket. It is small in size and can be neatly stored away or placed in a suitcase. It's a great device for utilising cupboard space or clever packing of a suitcase for a holiday. It works with vacuum seal bags and to use it you just place the bottom over the valve of the bag and turn the device on. It quickly removes all the air in the bag and leaves you with a much smaller in size package. I'm really pleased with it, it's freed up much needed space in my wardrobe and I plan on taking it on holidays with me.

Believe it or not the hardest part of this whole process was getting the quilts into the bags and the bags sealed. When I first saw the size of the box that this came in, I thought to myself that "this is gonna be way too small to do the job" z how wrong I was. The video shows exactly how simple it was to suck the air out of an XL bag with a 15 TOG double quilt in it - around a minute. Each of my two 15 TOG quilts are different. One is a cheap one with an outer that feels a bit like paper, the other is a soft-touch one. This pump flattened them in about a minute and ten seconds. It fits really snugly over the valve, and once turned on, the suction pressure it creates means that one no longer needs to hold it there, it simply keeps drawing air out and keeps its seal with the valve by itself. It changes pitch as it goes but it does it with ease without being too loud. It has a pretty short lead which would be my only gripe, it's about 1 metre. At the end of spring I will be doing the same thing with the two 5 TOG quilts.

Great wee gadget for vacuum packing.

Suction not as powerful as if you were to use a pipe on a hoover but better than using the hand pump that came with my vacuum bags. Slightly disappointed it didn't vacuum pack the bags down as much as I had hoped, but can live with it

Ordered to use when camping to help shrink down space when packing to come back. Not the most powerful of suctions (the air pump we had for halfords can be used to such air out and worked better over all until the batteries got too low) but adequate for the job we got it for.
