Üllo Decanter Set + Wine Purifier, Display Base, Travel

This has been a fabulous buy.Prior to using the Ullo, after only a couple of glasses of white wine,I would sneeze every morning for a week, up to 60 sneezes a morning!! Now after consuming larger volumes I haven't sneezed once... Hallelujah If purchasing again I wouldn't bother with the decanter because the purifier sits easily on a wine glass.

I saw an ad on Facebook that stated a filter could pull out sulfites from wine. I react terribly to sulfites, my hands swell, and I get the WORST headache that knocks me down for 2-3 days. Nothing helps my sulfite headaches but time, doesn't matter what drugs I take to combat my sulfite headaches; nothing works. I have always wanted to drink wine, but have not been able to due to the awful side effects of a three day migraine. I decided to take the leap and purchase the Ullo wine filter. As soon as the filter arrived, I dashed out to the liquor store and purchased a bottle of wine. I asked the employee at the wine store if he knew about the Ullo filter, he said he had a friend that was a chemist and his friend said it was impossible to filter out sulfites from wine. My heart sank! I had just spent a ton of money on a filter that he said would not work! I figured I would find out for myself, I had the weekend off, and would risk being in bed all weekend due to a migraine!! As soon as I got home, I opened up the box and filtered my new bottle of wine. The directions were very easy to follow, the filter itself has three pieces to it. The decanter is a really nice quality and easy to clean. It has a nice wide base so it won't tip over. It was a bit difficult to open the components up of the filter the first time; I was afraid I would break it. The filter has a rubber piece that has to be pressed down to pop off the bottom of the filter, if there is anything that could break on the filter, I think it may rip if a person is not careful. Once I opened it up for the first time, it is easy now. I bought the decanter so I could filter the whole bottle at once. I also filtered my glass of wine the second time by putting the filter on the top of my wine glass; which fit nicely. I drank the glass of wine, went to bed, HOPING i would not wake up at 2am with a splitter of a headache. I woke up the next morning with NO HEADACHE!!! I tried a glass of wine again the next evening, woke up with NO HEADACHE!! the Ullo wine filter WORKS!!! I am going back to the wine store and tell the employee that has the chemist friend, the filter works and his chemist friend needs to go back to school!!!!!!!! If you get headaches from wine and you would like to have a glass of wine, try the filter, it worked for me!

J'ai essayé ce produit car mon père semble souffrir des effets secondaires des sulfites. Je ne pense que cette solution soit économiquement bonne et son efficacité doutable.

I was skeptical that this would work but I gave it a try. I am so very, very pleased with this purchase. The decanter is hand blown glass that is really beautiful and the wine filters really work. I am Italian and my family has tried to make me drink wine for years but I refused because it always gives me a headache. Well now my headaches will just come from all the arguing about why it is not a good idea to put a cube of ice a glass of red wine. Why my family feels the need to do this I will never know but now I can drink wine with them without the sulfate headache. Now if there is a filter available for unruly Italians on Amazon, I might buy that as well. ;) This product really does work and it makes the wine taste really good as well. The filter needs to be replaced after one bottle or within 3 hours of being opened. I actually filtered the entire bottle and over a 3 day period, we enjoyed the wine from the decanter. You can double filter your wine too. I did that and the results are excellent. Well worth the investment.
