Brilliant kettle!! I have only been using it for a couple of days but it Looks great and is super fast and quiet when boiling. Love the light up feature and I am really pleased with it! The cable is about 65 cm long (which is great for me but may not be so good if you need a longer reach to the power outlet) and the kettle is nice and light to use. The flip top lid is definitely flippy and works well for me and it is definitely a nice, smart looking addition to my kitchen. Hopefully it will last for a while but it does seem to be well built and sturdy and, in my opinion, is worth the money as I have purchased more expensive kettles in the past which haven’t been as good as this one!

Really pleased with this glass kettle. Looks good, boils quickly and the bonus being plastic doesn't touch the water. It's mainly glass and stainless steel.

Lovely kettle but need to watch and not burn yourself as Glass gets very hot. Fast delivery and good otherwise. Thankyou

Brilliant little kettle. Perfect for two people. Boils very quickly and not too noisy. Love the glass window and blue light which makes it so easy to see how much water you use. Must save on energy too.

2 sizes, I bought the 1litre because I am on my own, and I can say it is a good product. now we know everything is made in China, but they can make quality. fast boil, pop up top, and easy to clean. if you need a family size, buy the 1.7 litre. I will be happy if it lasts 2+ years,

1litre glass kettle I am so disappointed it took ages to choose and I loved it when it arrived, it has everything going for it, neat, quiet, quick boil, attractive, perfect for two stainless steel lip and lid, not too heavy but after one week the switch started to not work, the British switch was one of the reasons in favour but now I’m not so sure, do I buy the same or start the whole process again, Amazon customer service is amazing and has generated a return, if I had a gas cooker I would never buy another electric kettle again 21/10/23 this is an update, I exchanged the kettle for another the same because I really like this little kettle and so far it has worked well, I am so pleased, most important after one rinse there is no awful taste like most kettles it is quick quiet easy to fill looks very attractive not too heavy, so I would purchase it again, and if you are looking for a smaller kettle 1litre this little gem is perfect, also could not fault customer service it is first class

It's a nice looking kettle, worked well for 5 months, now leaks. Before I purchased, I read the reviews and thought it sounded like a decent product. Some reviews mentioned that the lid doesn't open far enough which I can see where the reviewers are coming from, it only opens to about 50 degrees. Anyway, all that doesn't really matter, the fact is that it leaks after 5 months which means I cannot recommend it at all. At the end of the day, a nice looking faulty product is still a faulty product. It looks like I'll need to contact the manufacturer as it's past the Amazon return date. Trying to sort this stuff out is always a hassle so I would say from my experience with this product, find another kettle. If I get a replacement and it works well, I'll update this review.

The lid is plastic on the inside - and steel on the outside! It may be unreactive plastic but if you are looking for 100% plastic free - this is not the right kettle. After boiling any water left evaporates onto the sides and the top (black plastic) and and drips back down. Arguably this defeats the whole point of a plastic-free kettle. However it is at least not directly in contact with boiling water. Also the filter is plastic but can be removed. In terms of size the 1.0 Litre is quite small even for 1 person - the picture can be deceptive on its size so be careful about that.
