Great lights, great customer service! (Updated 2/27/24)
I purchased the 3-pack. After registering them in the app, I realized they do not change color aside from the color temp (warm white - daylight white). In fact out of the 3, one registered as a different type "G32" with a "newer" layout for dimming/turning on & off. I'm wondering if these bulbs are really from the company. While they are in a Lightinginside box, there is no "Lightinginside" logo on the bulbs or any logo for that matter. I am returning and will purchase another brand. Some tips after struggling to get them added in the Smart Life app as these bulbs did NOT register automatically by tapping Add Device and letting it search while they were in "pairing mode". They had to be added manually. 1- I have an Eero router setup, so I Googled how to set it temporarily to 2.4 GHz only (done in Settings > Troubleshooting > My device won't connect > My device is 2.4 GHz only > Temporarily pause 5 GHz.) 2- In the Smart Life app, tap Add Device > Lighting > Light Source (Wi-Fi). 3- Under your Wifi network, type your password and tap Next. 4- Reset the device/put in "pairing mode" by turning power on, off, on, off, on. The bulb will flash quickly (about twice per second) and tap "Confirm the indicator is blinking or breathing". I also connected them successfully on the "Tuya Smart" app which has an identical menu to the Smart Life app. (also no color for me BTW!) This was on my phone from a previous smart lamp purchase. If you have another app that's already linked to Alexa, perhaps try pairing the bulbs with that one instead to save yourself the hassle of creating a new account and adding yet another app on your phone. Hope this helps out someone. ----------------------- Update 2/21/24 Lightinginside has contacted me and explained that dishonest Amazon customers have been returning their old items in their packaging to get a refund for their product, and the bulbs I received are not really theirs. They've offered to send me replacement bulbs directly, at no additional charge. I will update this review after I've had a chance to test them. In the meantime, changing my 1 star to 3 for their efforts. ----------------------- Update 2/27/24 As they promised, Lightinginside sent me a set of replacement bulbs at no charge for my troubles (even after I returned the originals and received my refund.) These bulbs are very easy to connect, very bright, and are RGB and have all kinds of custom scenes (I'll probably not use, but they're there.) After reading some other reviews, I'd like to share my findings on two of the reported issues that caught my attention, and had some influence on whether I should try this brand. 1st on connecting, and 2nd, how hot they get. 1- I connected two bulbs in my older bedroom ceiling light with no problems at all. Unlike the 1st set of "customer swapped non-RGB bulbs", these detected immediately after tapping the "+" icon, Add Device, and and letting the app search for them. I do believe forcing your Wifi to use only 2.4 GHz at least during this step may help with connecting. 2- How hot they get. I did notice that the base of the lights did get very hot to the touch. I left them on for about 20 minutes at 100% brightness, then took out my IR temperature gun. One bulb reached about 172 degrees F. The other about 167 degrees F. However, I understand that old incandescent bulbs could reach over 250 degrees F. Also, these bulbs are 1350 LM, which are brighter than normal. I also tested a set of TP-Link Kasa Smart bulbs (1000 LM) and my temperature gun read around 150 degrees F for those. The Lightinginside bulbs do have the markings showing they're "ETL" Certified, so I'll assume these temperatures are normal. If I dim them, the temperature will drop accordingly. The app has some interesting features, although a little confusing IMO. -It took me a while to figure out how to group the two devices together as both bulbs are in the ceiling. (Tap the device, then the "pencil" icon on the top right, then Create Group.) -Then once grouped, your settings are now limited to "Schedule" and "Power on behavior". Gone are "Plan", "Timer", and "Circadian Rhythm" something I'd like to try. However all in all, I'm very happy with these bulbs ands their customer service!

Great Seller
I should start by saying I really like these bulbs...when they work correctly. I had one batch that lasted me about a year and then one of the bulbs started getting finicky. I moved it to multiple different lamps and it would constantly randomly go offline, even if I reset it. I decided to buy another 4 pack and they worked great...for about 35 days, then one of them started acting finicky again, going offline and not even allowing me to reset it in a completely different lamp. Edit - The seller reached out almost immediately and let me know about their 2 year warranty on the bulbs. They are sending a newer unit completely free. The seller stands behind their product, and as I said before, they're great when they work. The bulbs integrate with Alexa, so I have most of my house set on routines so my lights become night lights at night and full brightness during the day. Even my porch lights are timed so I never forget to turn them on. They're a great set-and-forget bulb, but if you ever need to change their settings, the app and Alexa make it super convenient.

The Best Lightbulbs for Fun and Parties.
These lightbulbs are very bright and great for parties. The colors of it is a wide variety and high quality. It’s easy to install and it was easy to connect with the app and WiFi. Very fun to use if you celebrating Halloween or Christmas or any other holiday or birthday party. I will also say there was a night where my friend needed an ambulance and where I live it very very dark and so I had my one of my two bulbs on the front porch and using red and blue flashes to signal where the ambulance need to stop at and it work fabulous. So with all that said. I recommend this product. The only drawback I had was the speed of the flashing. It was not a strobe light. So if you’re looking for a strobe light this is not the bulb for you. Now there is a strobe mode but not like an actual strobe light you see at a hollween event or a party or concert.

Amazing colored bulbs!!
Love these bulbs! I can change them to any color using my phone, and I can control each one individually or sync them together. I’m also able to adjust the brightness and set schedules, so they turn on and off automatically without me ever having to touch a switch. They truly are the best—so easy to set up and maintain! I have them on my garage, front porch, and lamp post. And if I’m not in the mood for color, switching between warm or cool white lighting is super simple. I really love these bulbs, and the app is very user-friendly with tons of options. If you’re thinking about getting new smart bulbs, these are a must!

Superb company and customer service!!!
**Update** The company reached out to me after my initial review. They sent replacement bulbs to me (as they have updated their technology in their bulbs). The shipping of the replacement bulbs were very quick! After I received the bulbs, I tried them again in the same light fixtures as before. One bulb connected right away and almost effortlessly in less than 5 minutes, start to finish. Super impressive! I then tried 4 more. These four, took a bit longer. I tried everything and anything I could think of. After 2 hours, restarting the app multiple times and screwing the bulbs in and out a few times, they connected! This was huge as before I never even got to this step. However, 3 of the 4 bulbs then wouldn’t fully connect as I had no color, scene or setting options. I continued to try various things and eventually they all connected as they should AND with all their settings!!! Connecting them to my Google Home was super simple and effortless. Once they all synced they have been amazing bulbs. I’d recommend these, just be patient and know it may take a bit to get them fully synced but once they are, they’re bright, colors are bright and true to color, dimmable, voice controlled through Google Home (in my case) and a great feature to have in your rooms. Also, a HUGE shout out to their customer service (Maggie) as they reached out, stood by their product, offered help and suggestions to get the bulbs to function properly, timely with responses, replaced their product with fast shipping and over all was amazing to deal with! Highly recommend their company for these traits alone as those are hard to come by in companies these days! Definitely updating my stars from 1 to 5 for everything they have done to ensure a happy customer and for the lights being as amazing as they described! I bought 8 of these. So far, I’ve tried to install 6 of them. So far only 1 works. I absolutely loathe the set up for these lights! You have to install an app (and sign up for it) then you have to pair the lights. After pairing then you can go through your Google/Alexa and set them up there. A lot of steps and useless app for a lightbulb, imo. Pairing the lights with the app is where 5/6 lightbulbs have failed. I’ve tested the internet and performed a speed evaluation and it’s using the 2.4, should be all systems go. I made sure the light was on and flashing. I worked over 90 minutes last night trying to pair 1 lightbulb and it never did pair; I put it back in the box. I’ve had one lightbulb (same house and set up) that paired within 20 minutes of beginning the process. I’m not a fan of these bulbs just from the set up process. I do not recommend these to anyone that has a life past installing lightbulbs. They are bright, from what I can tell with the one bulb. That is probably the only reason for the one star in this review bc otherwise they’re not even worth the one star.

Great smart bulbs—bright, responsive, and easy to use!
I’m really impressed with these Lightinginside smart bulbs. They’re bright—much brighter than most smart bulbs I’ve tried—perfect for rooms that need strong, clean lighting. At 1350 lumens, they really do feel like a true 100W equivalent without the heat or energy waste. Setup was quick, and they connected to the app right away with no hassle. I also appreciate that they use only 11W, so you get powerful lighting without a big hit to your energy bill. Overall, these bulbs are an awesome value—super bright, reliable, and very convenient for smart home setups. Highly recommend!

Perfect for my needs!
I tried the Amazon Basics bulbs but I couldn't get them to pair with my network. These, however, worked great! Easy to install and setup with the app. Then sync with my Alexa app. Love all of the color choices! And at 1350 lumens they are plenty bright enough. I definitely recommended these.

The trouble with smart lightbulbs...
Smart lightbulbs are great for a while, until you start realising that flicking the switch at the door is much easier than "smart" methods of turning room lights on/off. The variable colors are cool, the dimming is cool but it's still about manually messing about with an app or talking to your smart hub versus toggling a switch and the switch is smarter by a mile. The closest smart lightbulbs come to the toggle switch simplicity is if you also use a smart hub that can use something like ultrasound to detect the room has someone in it or is empty and just leave the smart hub to turn the lights on/off when the room is populated/empty. That's not 100% reliable and can turn the lights off when you are in the room and putting an Alexa device having ultrasound detection or equivalent in every room just to avoid toggling the switch at the door makes smart bulbs seem a lot less smart than they claim. I also find them really unreliable, each month I have to reset and re-install one or two. Then, all but the most recent wifi connection points don't support many simultaneous connected devices, I have over thirty lights on each floor of my house. I had some recent problems where I bought a four pack of 1350 Lumens (100W equiv) ones and none worked, received a replacement box overnight, none worked. A bunch of 800 Lumens ones by the same manufacturer were fine while none of the 1350 ones worked. I have an IoT IP network and two wifi 6 access points only connected to it and it's all dedicated to my Amazon Echos, Nest Thermostat and smart bulbs. All was working except the new boxes of 1350 Lumens Lightningside bubs. I upgraded my Nest Thermometer a couple of days later and it would only connect via my non IoT network saying no Internet access on the IoT network. Took a look at the network data and discovered the 1350 Lumens bulbs were getting No Response errors from my DNS server. To protect my computer network from what might be done by online lightbulbs I had created a DNS server "view" for the IoT IP network but had put the view config after the public entry serving "any" request to my public IP address. So, the IoT view was orphaned, non-functional. After correcting the order both boxes of 1350W bulbs and my new Nest thermostat worked. Odd that four echos, the 800 Lumens bulbs and old Nest Thermostat had no problems with the DNS config error (I assume they were doing something like DDNS but don't know why the 1350 Lumens bulbs would not also). I admit, having the lights dimmed to the lowest level when I go to bed is good for winding down but I doubt the claimed 1% brightness level is honest, if I ever put a light meter in a room and measure the difference between light energy at different dimmer levels I'll be sure to update my post.
