I’ve been using Sunwarrior Warrior Blend Protein Powder for a while now, and it’s become a staple in my daily routine. As someone who leans toward plant-based nutrition, I appreciate that it’s made from organic pea, hemp, and goji berry protein—no dairy, soy, or gluten in sight. The Vanilla flavor is smooth and not overly sweet, thanks to the stevia. It blends well in smoothies and even just with water, though I’ve found it mixes best with a blender or shaker bottle. One scoop gives me 16–18 grams of protein with minimal carbs and fat, which is perfect post-workout or as a midday boost.

As someone who has to be careful with gluten and dairy, I have come to love sunwarriors products the best. Their formula is amazing and full of all sorts of vitamins and nutrients, it is easy on your stomach, it mixes well, and tastes great. I love the amount of protein offered per serving and that it doesn’t have a very gritty texture I do feel the need to share that this product does have a flavor to it even though it is supposed to be unflavored. It is kind of earthy, but when mixed into things, you can’t hardly tell.

This is great protein. I use this as a meal replacement and a post workout drink. It tastes great and I like how I don't feel bloated and too full after drinking it.

Finally, a protein powder that doesn’t cause bloating and stomach issues! As a vegetarian, it takes a lot of effort to consume enough protein to keep up with my daily workouts. Powders I’ve tried before usually cause bloating, so I was pleasantly surprised that this one was gentle on my stomach. Although it is “unflavored”, it has a slight flavor (and aroma) of greens/ green veggies. That shouldn’t be a surprise though. It’s very mild, but I wouldn’t recommend mixing it in with anything you wouldn’t already mix spinach with. It tastes delicious mixed in a fruit smoothie! The texture is its worst feature. In a blender bottle, it looked like it was completely dissolved in the cranberry juice, but it tasted super grainy. I decided to throw it in the blender with a banana, frozen blueberries & frozen strawberries. It tasted great and the texture was a lot smoother. The next day, I threw it directly into the blender with OJ, bananas, yogurt, an apple, frozen blueberries & strawberries and it tasted grittier than the first smoothie. SO. If the texture bothers you, try mixing it in the shaker bottle first to soften it, then throw it into a smoothie. Or make it several hours before you plan on drinking it and hope the texture softens. They recommend consuming it same day. For those with allergies, it’s made in a facility that may also manufacture items with peanuts or tree nuts. I definitely recommend trying this protein powder, especially if you need a supplement without dairy, soy and gluten. Although it takes effort to soften the gritty texture, it is a really gentle way to help get my protein!
