I am a taller lady, 5'9, and many of the dresses I purchase online end up too short. Not this dress, it is the perfect length for work, with heels or flats! The fabric is thick, which can also sometimes be an issue with Amazon dresses, I generally need a slip under them. This dress is a thick stretch and hangs beautifully! I generally wear a 14/16 in dresses depending on the cut. Like I said I am 5'9. I purchased a XL, it has plenty of room, I believe I could have gone with a L and been just as happy. I will be buying this dress in more colours!

I ordered the black in an XL and it's great. I'm short, 5'4" and I usually wear a 14 top and a 16/18 bottom. This dress is a little loose on the sides but it's ok. You can't see my bra from the side or anything. I can't believe that I was going to return this dress. Luckily, I didn't. This is an awesome little summer dress. Great length. Lightweight. No slip needed but I did wear slipshorts, thankfully. There was a bit of wind today. Hope it washes well.

Was concerned about the fabric quality and fit because of the price, but the dress fit perfectly and the fabric is nice. I received so many compliments on this dress I am going to order another. I am a teacher and this is perfect because it looks nice and professional, but can also be thrown in the washing machine. In addition, at the price, you don't have to be super careful (which is especially important in elementary school). :-)

I've been buying clothes from Amazon for a few years now and this dress is hands-down my favorite clothing purchase so far! The material has a nice weight to it. It's not sheer or overly lightweight. I'm 5'6", around 240 lbs, and have huge boobs. I ordered an olive green dress in XXL. The fit and color are wonderful. The armholes are the perfect size; my bra does NOT show! The scoop neckline is great for the current trend of wearing long necklaces. I'm planning to wear this through the colder months by pairing it with cardigans, boots, leggings, and scarves. It's a very versatile dress that can be dressed up or dressed down with different shoes and accessories. Good for the office and good for summer vacations too! As of 1/5/18, I now have four of these: olive, black, navy, wine and I LOVE THEM! Edited 2/22/18: It's now February in the south, so I've had to bundle up in the mornings and have the AC on by afternoon. I'm very happy to say that the arm holes in these dresses don't show my bra! I would be very happy to every color they make in this dress and for that to be my entire wardrobe - that's how much I love these dresses. Edit 2/17/19: I now have four of these - green, burgundy, navy, and black. They are great basic pieces to build a wardrobe off of!

Bought this dress for preteen daughter for family photos. Wanted a simple dress that was age appropriate. This dress did not disappoint. My little lady is already a bit shapely, and this dress complimented her without being too mature. I loved the modest neckline that allowed her jewelry to be visible without revealing her bust. The length is also great. The material is breathable, but thick enough that it isn’t sheer. The dress can be accessorized for dressing up or keeping casual. She looked so stunning, Mama bear almost cried. She loves the dress too and has already worn casually as well. Great buy

So the dress I received didn't look anything like the product photo in the listing. What should have been a scoop neckline was a high neckline - right up to my neck. And there were no pleats in the photo, but the dress I received had some pretty obnoxious pleating at the waist line that made me look much heavier than I am ( I am 5'-7" and I usually wear a US size small or a 4 in dresses). The waist line was also much higher than in the photo. The blue looks vibrant in the photo, but the dress I received was a dull blue (this is the only part I understand as colors can look different on the screen). Buyer beware!

The dress is actually a little darker than pictured. However, it's still worth it. I'm 5'4, 200 lbs at the moment, with 36C breast. I ordered an X-Large. It fits with room. However, these dresses are meant to be fitted at the top. If you order them too large you won't get that shapely effect. I ordered the other colors in L because I plan to lose weight. The length is pass the knees on me making it great for worship. The dress does stretch and there's enough material in the back for a large butt. If you have a large bust 40C - D and larger go one size up. If you don't, then get your regular size.

Not sure how this has such great reviews. The material was fine - not super soft or super rough. Might have considered keeping if it had pockets. Very basic, plain cotton dress. Could find the same at Primark for £7.

My daughter's liked their dress. Was slightly longer than expected.
