TEYOUYI Replacement Base Cover Compatible Instant Pot 6 8 Quart Accessories Black

Exact replacement for one that got too close to a stove burner and melted. It took me about two minutes to install on the bottom of my Insta-pot leaving it in good-as-new shape again.

1. Crafted product or not, the bottom of my pot melted and required a proper replacement. 2. The fit wasn’t perfect, but it was perfect for the pot. 3. My “instapot” is a Faberware. Same qt size as the name brand, but I was a little concerned that the base would be slightly different. I was so happy to know that the difference (which I suspect there is on) is very slight. 4. SAVE THE PLACEMENT SCREW! 5. The replacement piece I received did not come with a placement screw to secure it to the base of the pot, but I had retained the original and there were no issues. I 100% recommend this product as a suitable REPLACEMENT part/piece. :) Thank you :)

This was a perfect fit for my instant pot and worked perfectly so I can now use it...once I figure out how 😜 My friend gave it to me with a melted bottom because she knew I could fix it and she just didn't need it anymore. She accidentally say it in a hot stove burner and that's what melted it in the first place. I thought I had a pic of the melted bottom, but can't find it now. I'm very happy that I was able to fix it and have only used it once so far because I don't have any good directions, but I'll get those too😉

It is 3D printed in PLA. Does not fit 5.7L (6 quarts) instant pot duo, but if you snap the protruding bit off so that it’s a circle shape it can be slotted in. If you have a 3d printer or know someone who does, I would recommend you print this yourself. I could print a better quality print than this, and had I known it was of a home printed 3d printer, I would not have bought this. It would have been faster than the delivery time and been of a better quality had I done it myself. At least I could’ve used PETG instead.

The key differences between this 3D printed replacement and the original is the that 1. This 3D printed cover is elongated on one side by few millimeters, which makes it NOT fit inside the dug-in and because of that you can not rotate it to lock in the teeth. 2. The rectangualr part that has the screw hole does not have the tab/teeth that goes inside to secure it and it is missaligned. 3. Overall the fit and finish is pretty crude and unfinished, the tolerances are out, but I think it was made very thin or with cheap filament or poorly and it warped somehow during the printing. At its current state, it is not recommended, specially for this high price, there are better alternatives elsewhere.

This product is not original but is instead 3D-printed. It does fit, but not like the original part. Moreover, it was not mentioned that the product was 3D printed.

As the title said, but there is not much choice of replacement in the market.
