This is the second bottle I’ve bought. I have combination skin, with an oily T-zone, occasional acne, and very sensitive skin. This foaming face wash cleans gently, has a pleasant scent, and leaves my skin soft without feeling tight. I recommend it if you want a product to cleanse your skin daily, either before applying any cream or serum, or after removing makeup.

Burt’s bees is the only company I trust face wash products by. Even after their formula and product changes they still remain the best to me. I have really oily skin and this leaves my face super soft & clean each time. No over drying or sensitivity afterwards.

I didn't know this face wash would have such a watery consistency. I think using it right out of this bottle, it would be too easy to waste a lot. I repurposed a bbw foaming hand soap bottle to use this face wash, so the leftover scent from the hand soap mutes the scent of this one, which I don't care for. Along with my sonic silicone brush, it leaves my very oily skin feeling clean. Also, works well as a 2nd deeper cleanse after removing my makeup. I bought a few while it was marked down considerably but I do personally prefer a gel cleanser, so after they're finished, don't see myself repurchasing. However, I don't have much bad to say about this product except having to decant it and the scent, which isn't unbearable; I just don't like it.

The BHA breakout defense from Burt’s Bees has worked really well for my finicky, acne-prone, 55yo skin with rosacea. I’ve tried other types of face washes that work for a short while then fizzle out. But not this one. I first bought it on their website a few years ago, and was so impressed with how it has worked for my skin, that I’ve continued to use it daily. The scent is light, it has never irritated my very sensitive skin, breakouts have been reduced dramatically for me, I find good deals here on price, it rinses clean and makes my skin feel good, and I hope they never stop making this! It’s hard to find something that works just for you, and has staying power. This is that product for me, so I keep stocked up. This item always comes sealed with no leakage, I’ve been fortunate for that.

I have really sensitive skin, so I have to be extremely careful even with organic and natural products. For the most part, I don’t struggle with acne, but I do experience occasional breakouts due to hormonal changes, allergic reactions, or simply touching my face. Finding a consistent cleanser that works for my skin has been a challenge. Before this, I used Soap & Glory and First Aid Beauty for years, but over time, they started causing breakouts. I’m not sure if it was due to aging or changes in my skin. My teenage daughter originally tried this cleanser, but it didn’t work for her. Since we already had it, I decided to give it a shot. It took some time for my skin to adjust, but eventually, it worked, and now I’m about to purchase my third bottle. A friendly reminder, always moisturize! That’s a whole other skincare journey on its own. Great price point and purchase. All you need in a dime to nickel size on a cotton pad. For reference, I’m in my early 40s.

ordered feb 20. been using daily ever since. writing this review 3/12/26. some days i would use twice. use the ordinary alpha arbutin 2% and these are my results. i still break out, lots of new pimples and still some blackheads. might need to give it more time… i hope. it smells soooo good. i love the smell. you dont need a lot of product. after this whole time it still looks like i barely used it.
