Bought to weigh done a shower curtain it works but could have selected a heavier weighted cord but it will work for now, as the cord is lead, will be interesting to see it will rust over time, which is why I purchased it.

Just did the trick on an article of clothing - threaded through the hem and now stays in place.

I used this weighted piping for the bottom of voile curtains on a door. It works well for containing the voile in place when the door is open. Lighter weights are better for normal size window voiles.
