Don’t hesitate, buy it
I bought this robot a while ago and have been using it consistently, and the results have been excellent. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone who wants a super clean pool with minimal effort. This is exactly how a pool robot should be: a robot should work for you—not the other way around 🤖. It’s meant to bring ease and relaxation, not extra work or additional tasks. You charge it, clean it when needed, and it does the rest. To make this review more helpful, I’ll break it down by category: Customer Service: Hands down the best customer service I’ve ever experienced in my life. It honestly feels like buying a Lamborghini—you’re treated like a high-end, luxury customer. Their online platform is excellent, and there’s always a real person on the other side ready to help. Product Development: Amazing. You get a solid, well-built unit. Great quality, strong performance, excellent packaging, and thoughtful design. I truly wish every company operated like this—or at least learned from them. Comparison to Other Products on the Market: I’ve tried many pool cleaners over the years, and none of them were worth the price I paid. This one, however, is extremely satisfying—both in performance and build quality. Battery Life: I have a 12,000-gallon pool, and this robot can clean the entire pool—including walls and waterline—twice on a single charge. Charging Time: Very fast. In no time, the robot is ready for action again. Cleaning Performance: It does an amazing job every single time. Maintenance: Minimal. Only the filter needs to be cleaned. Filter Cleaning: Super easy—just rinse the debris off, put the filter back in, and it’s ready to go again. App: Very user-friendly and easy to use. Setup Time: About 1 minute—literally one minute, even for a slow guy like me 🤣 Noise Level: Zero. It’s very quiet—you don’t hear anything. Final Thoughts: I strongly and confidently recommend this product.

Cordless Convenience With Strong Cleaning Performance
I’m impressed with this robot pool cleaner. This was my first time using a wireless model, and I was skeptical about whether the battery would last long enough to clean the whole pool. One charge easily handled my 10,000-gallon rectangular pool and picked up all the debris without any trouble. It did a great job on both the floor and the walls, and the cleaning was consistent from start to finish. I do still need to scrub the steps occasionally, but that’s something I had to do even with my previous wired Dolphin cleaner, so it’s not a deal-breaker. The step configuration seems to make it hard for any robot to work perfectly Overall, the convenience of no cord, solid battery life, and strong cleaning performance makes this a great upgrade. Very happy with the purchase. If that changes, I will update this review.

Brilliant robot option for pool floor
Does a GREAT job at removing debris from the pool. Replaced our pool guy with 2 robots a few years ago and haven't needed to look back. Would absolutely recommend this. Even picks up all the worms after the rain! We partner this with a Betta SE Plus for the surface skimming and put them in on alternate days. We use a mix of In The Swim chlorine pucks and the liquid chlorine from Walmart. And baking soda if it gets cloudy. That said, worth mentioning I live in Southern California. We keep our pool running year round, managing chemical balance through the cold months rather than closing/opening. While the S1 picks up all sizes of particle from the floor and manages to mount all walls and steps when "brushing", we've learned that manual brush scrubbing is definitely still needed in the winter months. We haven't done so for a few months and our pebble tec is noticeable darker (almost stained). Hoping a good few scrubs and switch back to the liquid chlorine we use in the summer will help restore it. Anyway; great pool vac. Wonderful cleaning robot for mainstay of the upkeep of an inground pool. So good that I REALLY wish they made tiny versions I could run in the pool's spa/jacuzzi :-) OR do they?

Eco mode is great!
I tend to get minor debris at the bottom of the pool that requires cleaning every other day or before use.Decided to try this because of the Eco mode, which cleans the bottom of the pool when you first put it in and then cleans it every other day. It’s great to just leave it in and I get three cleanings out of the batteries so it lasts a week just as advertised. Has some trouble with the corners, but they all do. So far it’s done exactly what I wanted to do. The original power supply didn’t work so they had to replace it but otherwise this has been an excellent reliable vacuum. The filter mesh is much more fine than my corded vacuum and that’s not even using the mesh filter, which they say can filter out algae. Why did on sale and it is definitely worth the money.

Setup was very simple. Just charge it for about an hour or two and drop it in the pool. The battery life is excellent, running a little over 3 hours on a charge, which is plenty of time to clean my entire pool. Cleaning performance is better than I expected. It climbs the walls easily and does a great job scrubbing the waterline. It also picks up a surprising amount of debris from the bottom (sand, pollen, and small leaves) that I didn’t even realize were there until I emptied the filter basket. Maintenance is straightforward. The top opens easily and the filter basket can be rinsed with a hose or just brushed clean once it dries. A couple things to be aware of: - The “smart navigation” isn’t really advanced. It moves around somewhat randomly, though it still manages to cover most areas over time. - It’s unable to clean very shallow areas like a sun shelf. - It’s made mostly of plastic, so long-term durability is something I’ll be watching. Overall, it has significantly reduced the amount of manual pool cleaning I have to do each week. If you’re looking for a reasonably priced robotic pool cleaner that handles walls, waterline scrubbing, and debris pickup well, the Scuba S1 is definitely worth considering.

Up until now, I have cleaned my inground pool either the old fashioned way - either by using the brush on the end of the long hose, or using a Creeper type device attached to a long hose. There was always a set up, working, and putting away components. This is my first experience with an automated cordless cleaner. While it took a little longer to ship (not unreasonable), it came extremely well packaged - 3 boxes that protected it well during its shipping adventure from China. The instructions were clear and easy to understand. Operation is equally clear. Charge the battery, turn it on, select which of the 4 programs you want, then drop it in your pool. I've only needed two of the programs so far - the automatic one (default) - pool floor and walls, or the Floor only. It's almost magical watching this gizmo climb the straight walls of your pool just above the water line, with the scouring brush getting rid of the buildup. According to the instructions, it maps out your pool. This was hard to really determine, but it did a better job at reaching most of the pool area. I have a kidney shaped inground pool with a deep end. Sometimes it appeared as if the slope from the deep to the shallow end of the pool confused it a bit. The battery lasted well over 2 hours in my test. The LED indicator was showing yellow, which means I still had some in reserve (it hadn't turned red yet). The charging port is a bit wonky. The rubber plug covers the charging terminals and you are warned to ensure that there is no water in there before charging. On my first couple of tests, there was water in this area, but I found if I pressed the rubber plug firmly there was no water in the charging area. Something to watch out for. It comes packaged with a handy hook that fits on the end of a standard pool pole. Make sure that it is firmly attached. It came off one time as I was lifing the bot out of the pool. When my grandkids saw it in action, the first thing they said is "What are you going to name it?" The movements underwater is almost creature like and actually fun to watch (okay, I need a life). The cleaner appears well constructed. It's easy to rinse out the collection basket with a hose. It's amazing how much stuff it picked up during my first few uses. This has certainly removed the burden out of regularly vaccuming the pool. Highly recommended.

I have to qualify this review by saying that my pool is a humpback kidney shape; so there are no straight edges. It is also about nine feet deep in the deep end with very steep bottom contours and very few flat areas. The pool's volume is about 80,000 litres. I am saying this because the back and forth pattern the vacuum is supposed to do, just doesn't happen in my pool. That being said, by the time it completes its cycle, there is very little, if anything left on the bottom of the pool. It runs for about two and a half hours, and during that time, it seems to get pretty much everywhere. It is very easy to use. You hold the power button to turn it on, then select the cycle, which is intuitive using the icons on the display. The cycles were actually labelled incorrectly in the manual but easy enough to figure out. The app for your phone is simple enough but really quite unnecessary because all it does is select the cycle; which you have to do each time you turn it on anyway. It is very easy to fish out of the pool with the included hook; however a small amount of debris seems to fall back in as it is being lifted out of the pool. The pictures I took are meant to show that my pool did not seem very dirty, but the vacuum seemed to find more than was visible. The really nice thing too, is that the vacuum is self-contained and nothing it sucks up goes through the filter system of the pool. A huge plus in how often you would need to backwash and I would think it would extend the life of the sand filter. For that reason alone, I would recommend this vacuum. It may seem expensive, but it is roughly half the price of more well known pool brands with similar features. I would give this product 4 out of 5 stars, with the debris that falls back into the pool when being lifted out and occasionally not getting everything being the only things keeping it from getting 5 stars. A very good product for the money.
