NYDJ Women's Marilyn Straight Leg-Jeans

I bought these jeans last year and just loved them. My true size is 10 needing a larger waist then most 10's provide. I fell and tore the knee and was just praying that NYDJ would offer them again this year. I patched up my torn jeans and ordered a new pair in size 8, thanks to those who recommended going down a size. They are just perfect and have enough give to be comfortable for sitting long periods of time. The black is rich, the texture of the corduroy is very fine so they look more like velvet. I travel with them and they look fabulous with a dressy top and pretty shoes or with boots and a flannel shirt. I feel trim and stylish in them. They are light weight, don't wrinkle and stand up over multiple wears. I wash inside-out on a delicate short cycle with little soap, dry enough to smooth out wrinkles and drape them over a chair to finish drying so that they retain their color. Very easy to hem but stretch the fabric slightly if you stitch with a machine. They run long at 33". I did purchase them on sale last year and paid full-price this time around.

I LOVE these NYDJ corduroy pants. When I can find them, I buy them. I'm very tall and VERY long waisted. Finding pants/jeans that are long enough in the RISE is near to impossible. These always fit beautifully. Very flattering, and this particular color, new to me and unseen in person, is a wonderful neutral that goes with everything. I was super happy when they arrived and passed my test!One thing to know about these pants that I didn't know until I bought these online. They come in different lengths so important to look at the measurements. I saw that some buyers got them and they were way too long.So...if you are tall and long waisted, I HIGHLY recommend these pants for a beautiful and flattering fit. I wish the teal was still available in this style.

Received my new pants in the winter white color today. I usually size down in NYDJ but this time I bought my regular size because I like a looser pant in light colors. The pants fit just right. Enough room to breath but not sloppy looking. They are soft, comfortable and well made. I'm only giving 4 stars instead of 5 because the "winter white" is more of a vanilla color. Not a deal breaker because I like the pants but I was expecting the pants to look more of a snow white color.

Straight leg style and length are great, BUT - getting the right fit requires considering your body structure:If you have a larger than normal/thick waist and larger thighs, ordering your normal size may work for you because these run 1-2 sizes larger than Normal Size in the waist and in leg circumference through the thighs.If you have a flat belly and slim hips/butt, consider ordering at least 1 and quite likely 2 sizes smaller. The cord material has plenty of give.

These pants are great. They are flattering with just the right fit in my thighs and waist. . I am 5'5 and the length is about 1 inch too long. It works well enough, but I might hem them if I can find the time. Other than that these are exactly what I wanted

I already had this style in my closet but not corduroy. I like the fit in general and the only thing that keeps me from giving it 5 stars is that the rise is too high for me. The thighs and hips fit nicely. I also have to hem them but petite pants are always too short. I am 5'3" and short-waisted. They are a decent pair of black corduroy jeans.

I purchased these pants because I already had a pair from a department store. They are the most comfortable pants I own. They are an expensive brand so it would be best if prior to purchasing them you get the opportunity to try them on somewhere else. I am normally a size 4 and purchased them in a size 2 and they fit perfectly but I only knew that because I already owned a pair. Love this brand and will buy more as needed!

Best cords ever! Comfortable, soft, and breathable. You can actually bend and stretch in these pants and move with ease. They do not feel like 4-ply woven cotton and spandex, more like 2-ply but still enough for warmth. I avoided cords all of my adult life because I could not find a pair that provided a flattering fit but the NYDJ fits perfectly. I have 5 pairs and plan to purchase in every color available. These are THE best cords ever!!!!!!!!!

Good quality cords. Had a brown pair of cords from them years ago and they were my favourite trousers . Wish I could get them again.
