Review: Great packaging, great movies, great price! Thanks WB! - This set is like a treasure chest that is layered and layered with the crown jewels of WB. It arrives in this incredible package that looks like a treasure chest. You open it and it is like opening doors to a theater premier as you pull back the logo and the package swings open from the middle. The disc box is the first thing you see, underneath that is a beautiful booklet with a history and pics of each movie. Underneath that is a "golden ticket" with a PIN code to instantly download digital copies of all 25 movies you can access online from Movies Anywhere. Underneath THAT are a pair of jeweled logo pins you can wear like a badge or jewelry. Each one of these movies is a 4 star film. Each disc audio and picture quality is pristine. Then you dig into the menus and the extras, outtakes, trailers, backstories are like another vein of gold you just hit. A documentary of the real Bonny and Clyde from the history channel is an extra on that movie. An Atmos soundtrack along with DTS-HD on A Star is Born. Of the four volumes available in the collection I now own 1 and 2. Some of the movies I have streamed or seen on TV a long time ago. Having them on disc is a huge step up from the streaming version in terms of quality. You get the discs, the digital copies, all the extras, the price is very good. You should own these sets if you like movies. Now I need to get Vols.3 and 4. Review: Brilliant! - For those wondering about the expired date to claim digital, i was able to claim mine. The pack is in perfect condition and if you dont own these movies a great deal !

Great Films but beware blu ray w/digital Expired june 2024
I was so excited to get the volume of WB movies with digital codes. even though I own a lot of these movies - on a great sale with digital code. call me happy. Nothing stating anything about digital code expiration date. (I purchased volumes 1 -3 ) I love this movies. I was so excited (not sure why i got that way) when the boxes arrived. Now call me angry/sad - I ordered on July sale, got them and noticed that on the sets all of them have notice that the digital code expired in June 2024. there is nothing on the picture showing this. False advertising I have had this happen to me quite enough times where I opened box and code was expired. amazon states not their issue (even though they state digital code to boost sales) and WB essentially has said - to bad so sad; they don't do anything if the code sheet states it expired (reminds me of used cars buyer beware, even though the movies are brand new). If you don't mind spending all the money on having a box set of these movies without an valid digital code I recommend getting them however if you are like me and bought these volumes for the digital codes don't bother. I am sending them all back.

Collected All Four Volumes
These volumes jumpstarted my Blu-ray collection. I've haven't owned Blu-ray's movie before and I can say the jump in quality is truly amazing. The movies themselves are are great collection as well. The not-so-good part is the way the movies are stored. It's completely unserviceable! The first movie pulled from the sleeve scratched. I tore out the paper covers for the rest of the 101 discs and threw out the packaging. Paper sleeves are the worst!

Not bad for 50 bucks
And the digital codes worked too :D. My only real complaint is it's difficult to remove the discs from their "holders". The "book" itself is excellent, however, they seem to have made the jackets a bit to tight to easily pull the discs out. Pulling each one out the first time requires tearing the cardboard a bit to make room - which is a shame.

Very nice set
Really well put together. The real prize of this set for me is the digital copies, which get redeemed as one simple code for all films to beam into your Movies Anywhere account. (you do not need to scan multiple times). Love that the WB on the front is a giant magnet. I will consider the other sets now after getting this one. The disc holders at first seem rigid but you seen realize they have this interesting locking mechanism for them to keep them safe when stored.

I Like the Design But The Case Is Ruining The Discs
First of all I like the overall design of this set. Clearly thought was put into the actual layout, color scheme, and design which I really enjoy. The bad (and it's BAD) is that the actual part of the digipak that houses the discs (it's a sleeve) is SO tight that every single one of my discs was scratched. We're not talking little scratches either, we're talking some 1-2 inch long ones that would not wipe away and, even worse, will likely continue getting scratched as you remove and reinsert the discs back into their packaging. Several times I thought I was going to break the disc or rip the packaging even attempting to remove the discs, several of which were inside the sleeve so tight I could hear them drag across the interior of the disc holder as they were removed. It's really a shame because it's a great set of films that showcase much of Warner's history, something you'd think by the way the discs are packed they resent. One part of my digibook was also undone, which made getting the disc out easier but it still was covered in scratches. I own hundreds of movies, many of which are in boxsets, and this is the first time I purchased one set brand new and EVERY DISC WAS SCRATCHED. It's disappointing, they even gave all the discs matching disc art too. It's actually ironic, this beautiful box art and then the discs are seemingly trapped in it, only to be damaged upon removing and reinserting. Tragic, this would have been such a great intro set to someone getting into classic dramas but alas- it's a deal breaker
