I wore this to do yardwork because we have a buggy yard, even in the middle of the day when the sun is shining. There are mosquitoes, but I also suspect some kind of biting gnat or noseeums.It went on easily and it absorbed and was not sticky at all. It felt like I hadn't applied repellant.The protection was good. I don't know if I can say it lasts 14 hours, but we had it on for a few hours and it worked.I did get one bite on the skin below my ankle bone. I think I missed applying this cream to that spot and got the bite.My observation is that this may be a picaridan thing: it only works on the exact spots you apply it. I have noticed with deet in the past that I could apply it sloppily and would still get total protection.I went out today at 7pm for about a half hour with no repellant on and got seven bug bites. So then I applied another repellant called No Bite Me by Sallye Ander. That succeeded to preventing additional bites, but I feel very clammy and sticky on my skin even two hours later.This picaridan lotion outperforms deet in terms of feel on the skin and not needing to worry about rubbing it onto something plastic by accident.Just be forewarned that you have to be careful with your coverage for protection. I find that a little annoying considering I could just roughly spray deet around me and be done.

I have been using this for a few years and love it. I put it on after my shower because there is no smell to it and then again in the evening and no bites!

This is a product that I generally dislike (a lot), but as an outdoor person, it's very necessary to wear bug repellent in order to enjoy my summer activities.Boogie insect repellent lotion checks off alllll the boxes for me: it's effective, no scent (like nearly zero), no residue, sticky or oily feeling on the skin whatsoever. While waiting for the fireworks show on the 4th, I was getting bit a lot. Until I remembered I'd packed the Boogie insect repellent lotion! Within a few minutes, I felt relief because the bugs no longer bothered me. It really works! I highly recommend this product.

I love how easy this is to put on compared to a spray - no hazy cloud to breathe in as you try to cover all your skin. It works well to repel bugs, but only works where it’s applied so you have to be sure to be thorough in application, whereas you would have more leniency with a spray. Love that this is picardin and not deet based, and love how well it rubs in and doesn’t leave any oily residue behind. It also has a pleasant, non-chemical scent. I would buy this product again.

I felt like it was almost too good to be true.But it worked just as well if not better than DEET products.No nasty smell or anxiety either. No propulsion so no inhalation risks. What a great product.

Took this to Fiji with our 8 week old and it was excellent! We were concerned that our infant was too young to apply bug repellent in a place rife with dengue but this worked great and left none of the slick, oily feeling of other products. Being that the skin is the largest organ in the body, I like that the ingredients didn’t give me pause when it came to absorption by our baby. Highly recommend!

Worked in Costa Rica !!!Can’t Rave enough about this bug repellent ! We used it on our 4 yr old and 1yr old in Costa Rica La fortuna and we left that trip with no Bites at all !I would put sun block then i put this and i also used some bug repellent stickers but just 1 on just their backs each day .. but i put the lotion on their legs necks and arms worked great !
