When I decided to paint several rooms of my home, I knew I would need to invest in painting tools so I did my research and came to the conclusion that this kit seemed to be the best value for my money.It didn’t disappoint - I was able to use all of the items in this set to paint multiple rooms with no issues.The roller covers for the large and small rollers work great, I washed each roller cover before using but I didn’t experience any fallout from the fibers. The larger roller also worked great when I attached it to an extension pole for getting to hard-to-reach areas. The angled brush was great for cutting in on walls and easy to use for trim as well. I also got a lot of use from the paint tray itself, and it was easy to clean when changing paint colors.Overall, I highly recommend this set to anyone who wants to paint the walls in their home and needs quality tools at a great value.

Wow the rollers in this set are CRAP!! The fluff came off in chunks on every single one as I used them making it time consuming and messy. It also left weird grey marks on the mall so we had to go out and buy new ones. Not cool. The paint brush was also leaving the edges super streaky. Don’t buy this crap

This is the best paint set I have ever used. Normally I use Purdy products for painting, but they are bulky for my petite hands. The Bates kit was just as good quality as Purdy and the paint brush was better than all of my high quality brushes. The tray rinsed clean after every use. I painted a textured wall with the roller and when I got to the ceiling, the brush allowed me to free hand without getting any paint on the ceiling. The Brush worked BETTER THAN TAPE! Nice clean straight line. No paint at all on the ceiling. The rollers didn't leave lint on the walls (used flat Ben Moore paint). and I really didn't have many dribbles. The best feature of this kit for me was the fact that it was a better fit ergonomically. I had less hand strain painting. I am not a professional painter and only tackle one room a year, but I do work in Facilities Management and I know proper tools make the job easier. This is a very good kit and a great value. I highly recommend this kit for small hands.

This is the worst roller handle I've ever purchased. I got to use it for a grand total of ten minutes before it came apart. The plastic end of the roller that goes in the end of the tube came off, leaving me with a roller tube completely full of paint that had to be squeezed off and back into my paint tray. Thank goodness I was wearing gloves, as it was a nasty mess trying to recover what paint I could from it. Of course it was the only roller I had, so I had to pour the paint from my tray back into the can then run out to Ace and buy a GOOD, QUALITY roller to replace this piece of junk. How this thing ever got five star reviews is beyond me.

My kit arrived and it was filthy. I had barely taken off the plastic when I saw that the rollers were dirty. The tray itself was covered in dirt. The paint stirring stick was moldy and had to be tossed. I regret not taking a picture of the mold, but you can clearly see all of the dirt.I was able to use the angled brush. That only had mold/dirt on the velcro part of the packaging. That was why I gave it two stars instead of one.Big box stores sell similar kits for relatively the same price. If time is an issue, just go with that instead.
