Astrology - Karma and Transformation: The Inner Dimensions of the Birth Chart New Revised and Expanded Edition Now with Comprehensive Index!

I have loved this book since it first came out and my copy is so battered I decided to buy a new one. The Kindle edition was advertised as being with an index, the one thing missing from the hard copy. So I downloaded the Kindle book. However .... yes there is an index in the back with everything beautifully indiced alphabetically but there are no page references so not a lot of use really. I hope this can be rectified. Otherwise a superb book, read and re-read.

I find this book truly illuminating. It has a holistic, non - judgemental approach to interpreting astrological data in your chart, and using this knowledge and connection with your planets for your spiritual healing and growth. I love the author's humble approach and his recognition of the need to reform and modernise astrological teachings so that they are applicable to our lives today. The text flows well and feels intuitive. It is even poetic at places. Thank you Stephen Arroyo for this beautiful work!

I like the writing style of Arroyo and have learnt quite a lot from this book. His experience in consultations show and his insights are invaluable. I don't necessarily subscribe to karma but don't the word in the title put you off. This is a book that I expect to reread once every few years for fresh insights and for reference.

One of the most informative books I have ever read. This is the one to choose if, like me, you think there should be more depth and meaning in Astrology. He explores the outer Planets with amazing accuracy. I would recomend this book to everyone who has an interest in Astrology.

very deep, profound insights...still outstands for the purity and simplicity with which is written. I couldn't ask for more ... A book that can be understand and process and reprocess through the different levels of astrology studies.

This is good but very weighty at times, not that accessible to those without quite a good understanding of astrology

Really excellent read. I was uncertain about buying this book, but it has definitely become one of my favourite astrology books. Arroyo is up there with Liz Greene, and Isabel Hickey in my opinion. Really great analysis, I learned a lot about astrology in general, and about myself by reading this.

Es un libro obligado de leer para cualquier persona que le interese el campo de la astrología a profundidad. Arroyo hace una síntesis de los componentes básicos de la astrología y de la lectura de una carta natal , llevándonos a una visión global y dinámica de este hermoso arte.

Amazon tells me I ordered this book all the way back in 2007, and at the time I remember that it helped me achieve what I would call a level of synthesis when doing chart interpretation (originally read during Saturn's transit of my 12th house). Like everything suddenly clicked for me when I read this book. Voila... magic. I have been a full time practicing astrologer now for over 10 years (tarot reader too) and recently started revisiting this book (in an effort to see what physical books are still worth keeping on my shelf). And I am still blown away by this book. It's still my all time #1 favorite, and re-reading it again now, 18 years later (a nodal cycle) brings forth layer upon layer of further understanding. I should find Stephen Arroyo's chart because he is my mentor, even if I never met him.
