Ortopad Elite Girls Eye Patches - with Glitter Accents, Ages 0-2 yrs (50 Per Box)

Learning that my 2 year old needed to wear a patch for 2 hours a day was definitely tough. The exercise has definitely increased my creativity since I have to think of new, fun ways to distract her from the fact that she hates wearing the patch. Both my husband and I have worn the patch, so have all the baby dolls. We've played pirate; we've read books about the patch; we go on walks; we've come up with all kinds of distracting games and activities. However, having some sort of choice in the matter seems to play a big part on whether the 2 hours goes off without a hitch. The choice for her always starts with "which patch are we going to wear today?" Sounds simple, but it mattered to her that we asked her for input. These patches are not only great with regard to size, adhesive, and function, but they also come in all kinds of designs. Her favorite is the blue mermaid patch. These are great and I'm thankful for the design options that give my little one some choices to help make the patching process a little easier to accept.

My daughter is over the moon for the glitter in these patches! What a great way to make patching more fun. The ortopad patch stays in place well on my kiddo and comes off with no fuss. I was hesitant about patching (we did atropine drops for about a year first), but it's so easy with these fun and cute patches I wish we had started it earlier as it seems to be more effective to do both.

Great product! I've only been using these for less than a week but can already tell I will be 100% satisfied with them. I reached out to a mom group on fb to ask what the best patch was and most sent me to ortopad so I ordered them, quickly they arrived to my door, I put 1 on my daughter right away to see how she would do and she only messed with it for about 3 minutes and then was over it. I swear I already see a difference in her lazy eye too! These patches are super easy and sanitary to apply, come off easy, and are adorable for kids to feel good about wearing them! (In her pictures the patch is a little lower than it should be but that is because I'm still getting used to putting it on a rambunctious 15m old haha) I would recommend these to anyone who is in need of patching their kids.

Update on my review below....we recently bought some from ortho pad direct and you can pick out any design you want for a tad bit more money. Mix and matching makes it even more fun. Now in addition to these we have (with out glitter) ponys, bunnies, turtle, fish, puppies, and seals.Old review: Love the little bits of glitter on each one. My pack did not come with unicorns as someone had mentioned. (So I wish I hadn't told my daughter bout unicorns) it did come with mermaids, hearts, ladybugs, princesses, and teddy bears which are all real cute. Glitter does not come off. She's been wearing patches for 2 years (3 1/2 now) and was tired of the designs from other major company on here. Glad I found these! I let her reach into the box like a game and see what she pulls out. Makes patching (3 hrs now) much less daunting.

These did leave a red ring and sticky feeling around my 10 month old's eye when we removed them, but the glue easily wiped off and the redness only lasted a couple of hours. Like removing a Band-Aid. They are super cute and the sparkle never fell off. They fit well on my baby, who wore them from 10 to 14 months.

I am using these for my 2 yr old. I have used the ortopad bamboo ones and those are softer than these ones and seem to mold to her face better. I bought the junior size and they fit her face perfectly. The color on these are brighter and she does like the glitter addition, but I will continue buying the other ones. Although these pull off fairly easy I feel the other ones are easier to pull off as well. I would give these a four star because they still work, but the packaging came destroyed. Not sure if it was what else was in the box or it was damaged before it was shipped. I am guessing it was the packaging fault but still it came destroyed so I had to find something else to store them in.

I got these eye patch for my little baby, i really love the fact that it stays on her face for a whole day different from the ones or two different ones I have used. I have to use like 3 to 4 per day of the types i used before because it keeps coming off when she rubs face on something. so I really love this and it was a relieve for me to see that i dont have to keep peeling stuff off her face and putting it on again.

My five year old Granddaughter has a lazy eye. She wears an eye patch on her good eye everyday. Most of the eye patches we tried hurt her face. These eye patches are awesome. They are very soft and they never hurt her face. I'm so glad we bought these patches.
