My Dark Romeo: An Enemies-to-Lovers Romance

This LJ Shen book is a must-read. LJShen is an author whose work I have read and enjoyed thoroughly. She's one of the few writers who got me interested in dark romance and mafia romance, and I haven't looked back since. When I spotted this book on KU, my first thinking was, "wow, finally i'm reading another mafia romance.." I immediately started reading it and didn't stop till I was done. This book is so wonderfully written that its readers will not be surprised to find that it is completely lighthearted. Dallas is the love of my life... I don't want to give anything away, but this book is excellent. Very leanthy , but overall it was just right. I can't wait for Franklin's story and Who's the one for Zach???, LJShen; you've done it again. Please don't make me wait too long;

If you like a modern day marriage of convenience book this is definitely a must read. I admit that it started out slow and I was beginning to lose interest but Dallas & Romeo's interactions were phenomenal. At first Dallas may appear as a lazy spoiled princess but she was so much more than that. I loved her witt and spirit. She wasn't a doormat and though her ambition seemed ridiculous to Romeo, it wasn't insignificant. Romeo was the typical rude hero who was hard to crack but was totally redeemable and after I got to know about his past, I could feel so much for him. His grand gestures for Dallas won my heart. He may appear as if he doesn't care but believe me he cares very deeply when it comes to his wife lol! This book kept me entirely captivated especially the last half. Dallas was hilariously awesome and I loved her character! I absolutely adored everything about this book.

I simply loved the book. It's so heartwarming and passionate.. I love Dallas and Romeo's enchanting relationship.. I simply loved the banter and bromance between Romeo, Olliver and Zach. I read the book on Kindle unlimited but I loved it so much that I am going to buy the paperback. Can't wait to read the next books in the series 💖 Must must read

I couldn’t finish it. Found the heroine extremely irritating.

I found this book when I was bored with my usual go-to. I was tired of same old tooo dark grey characters and damsels who have sex when they don't want to but their body betrays them(yuck). Anyway, this book is so refreshing and amazing, I fell in love with Dallas and Romeo in the first chapter. The writing style is impeccable and my most favorite was the chats between my 3 loves Rom, zack and Oli. I loved those chats and their friendship. Hope we have books on zack n oli coz it will be a crime not to.

The book is pretty long but you won't notice because its hilarious. Very enjoyable and unputdownable with a enemies to lovers trope.

The plot is filled with hilarious quips and a roller coaster ride of conflicting emotions. Loved the final outcome of the plot. Eagerly waiting for the next issues in this series..

Witty, full of delicious 'hate' humour and A real love/hate rollercoaster to boot this is an exceptional read and one I cant recommend enough. Laugh out loud and frustrating as hell this is pure entertainment. So go on - have a read and enjoy - I did! 💥💗😍 tiktok was right!!!!

Obsessed with this story, in love with this couple and there are some steamy moments that will linger in my mind for a while! My Dark Romeo written by Parker S Huntington and LJ Shen starts with a debutante ball in a small town in Georgia in which Dark, Powerful and Larger than Life Romeo catches the attention of everyone, everyone's except for Dallas'. Dallas is more focused on the sweet treats (English Shortbread) in Romeo's table which peaks Romeo's interest in this wild creature. Romeo offers Dallas a quick escape, an adventure before she has to fulfill her commitment with her selected fiance Madison. What starts as a fling ends up being Dallas' worst nightmare as she gets caught and is treated as damaged goods being promised to Romeo, a husband she doesn't want and is shipped to DC, away from her family and her friends. Would cold Romeo warm to sweet, smart Dallas or will Dallas wilt under Romeo's care? My Dark Romeo is definitely one of my Top Readings of 2023: we have a marriage of convenience (or inconvenience due to its rough start) between a dark, broody and secretive Hero looking for revenge and a sassy, super smart and even vengeful heroine that will stop at nothing until she gets more than Romeo's attention. Not only everything she does to catch it, but Romeo's reaction to her actions are definitely super fun to read. Romeo was a Hero like no other, his inner conflict was amazing. Dallas stole my heart! Also there are some amazing side characters that definitely need their own story. I can't wait for what these two authors have prepared for us, this literary world is ready to shake us all readers. What to Expect: Dark Romance Marriage of Convenience (or Inconvenience? Lol!) Vengeful Hero Sassy and Super Smart Heroine Amazing Side Characters (we need their story asap)

OBCECADA por este homem, ele é louco que nem ela e muito mais duro de se lidar, mas no fim ele é apenas uma fera com a necessidade de ser amado e teve sua rendição, eu amei muito esse livro. 🥺🩷

A fast paced, impossible to put down story. An enemies to lovers story that glued me to the pages, it had me laugh and feel, it entertained me giving a reprieve from everyday demanding tasks, this book feel in my lap at the right time.
