Vintage Fountain Pen Natural Handcrafted Bamboo with Matching Bamboo Case Box

What brilliant value! The pen writes smoothly and moderately wet with a natural fine line, at least in the owned example. I wasn’t expecting too much given the extremely low price. However, I am a bit of a fountain addict and was curious. Well, I am astounded, this is a really nice pen with a reasonable weight and stylish good looks in black with ‘gold’ trim. Obviously, it is a tad cheap and cheerful. I was expecting some initial ink flow issues. I may have been lucky but I had no problems at all.。 The ink flows well and the pen is a pleasure to write with – not scratching or blotches at all. Indeed, it’s a very smooth writer. It is more of a ‘fine’ rather than a ‘medium’ nib – but that’s not an issue for me. I have no complaints or gripes at all! You just can’t get better value. As you may have guessed, I am bowled over by this fountain pen. I am very pleased with my purchase and it more than deserves its place in my fountain pen collection.

I wanted to get a gift for my grandad and was really stuck for ideas. Then only last week I heard him complaining about how the quality of pens are not the same as the ones he use to write with years ago. This off course gave me the idea for this gift. I was drawn it by it description initially, the word ‘vintage’ offering everything I was looking for. Upon arrival I was also extremely pleased with the stylish design and amazing quality. This pen is handcrafted and is done so to perfection. In terms of gift ideas I cannot fault it. It has everything you would want to give in a gift, a unique hand crafted design made from bamboo wood (which offers a smooth finish) and comes in a handcrafted gift case. Whilst it looked amazing I just hoped it would write as good as it looked. I was happy to hear that the pen wrote beautifully and my granddad has told me it is the best pen that he owns! Extremely happy with my gift purchase.

This fountain pen doesn't take cartridges, which is not made clear in the description. It contains a syringe type insert and you need to use a bottle of ink. Plus, the lid doesn't stay on properly. My 8yo daughter insisted on using her pocket money to buy this pen. It wouldn' t have been my choice. But it looks nice and is very cheap.

The pen is attractive, light and good to write with. However, from the description , I was under the impression that any cartridge could be used in it. This was not the case, as I tried two different types ( one of which was recommended by Amazon as a linked buy) and neither of them worked. I can only use the pen with ink from a bottle.

Ich benutze den Füller, seit ich ihn habe, fast jeden Tag. Er liegt gut in der Hand, sieht total schön aus und schreibt ohne Kratzen. Man kann die Patrone im Tintenfass wieder auffüllen, wodurch sehr viel Müll gespart wird. Habe ihn auch zu Weihnachten verschenkt und er kam sehr gut an.

Il massimo della penna stilografica, elegantissima, lavorata a mano di legno bambù combinata con metallo color oro. Testandola al tatto risulta molto liscia e comoda da impugnare, leggera, non sgocciola e scorre senza graffiare fluidamente, completa il tutto una splendida custodia sempre in bambù che si può anche donare senza carta regalo! La sua descrizione è esatta, dispone di cartuccia che aspira l'inchiostro in un serbatoio (vedi foto) facile da usare e che si può anche eliminare sostituendola con una cartuccia standard già carica con un attacco universale internazionale, non bisogna aspettare nulla per poter scrivere immediatamente! P.s. Se non utilizzata per un periodo lungo è necessario estrarre la cartuccia e mettere la parte terminale, quella che scrive, in modo verticale su un fazzolettino, questo serve per evitare incrostazioni e se dovesse capitare che non funziona vi basta soffiare e aspirare con forza per liberarla, per fare questa operazione suggerisco di utilizzare una cannuccia! Il prezzo offerto tramite Amazon prime è favoloso rapportandolo anche alla sua qualità e consiglio di non perdere l'occasione di possedere questa prestigiosa penna da sfoggiare in qualsiasi occasione! Très bel objet qui mérite d'être plus a la mode

La glisse est fluide (la plume n'accroche pas) et le poids bien équilibré. Reste à voir dans la durée mais comme j'écris rarement, il devrait faire un paquet d'années. Je vais en commander un 2ème pour le boulot. (où je n'écris pas beaucoup non plus, mais je vais peut être m'y remettre, pour le plaisir d'utiliser le stylo)
