RV Awning Shade Kit 8x14 Complete RV Shade Kit (Black)

Last winter I was diagnosed with skin melanoma and after surgery headed to Florida for the winter.my doctors warned against sunning myself and since we drove an RV down I needed to sit in the shade as my devious custom was to sun myself at length.So I bought this sun shade and was immediately impressed by the amount of shade and the visibility through it. Many visitors to my RV commented favourably about it and in fact it gave the impression of having an outdoor room. I really like it.

Material is durable and nice for blocking some of the sun light giving shade without blocking the view. Kinda gives a screened in room feel. Not great for privacy but a $20 tarp will do that if needed.

we received it the same day we left to go on a camping trip and wanted to use it right away that weekend. We are using it for shade but also a privacy type screen. After opening and installing it on the awning rail, we noticed that one of the grommets on the bottom was missing...the hole is there but it doesn't look like the grommet was ever installed. Since we already had opened it and installed it and wanted to use it that weekend; we didn't feel we could ship it back. Not sure if we would purchase this again as the quality may not be the best as we had read other reviews of missing grommets but they were able to exchange for a replacement. We did like how it worked and may in the future spend the extra bucks and get a higher quality one.

I'm enjoying this shade kit. It seems sturdy so far, blooks the direct sun nicely and doesn't block your view. The only complaint I have is the same as other reviews; it was deivered with seveal of the gromets so bent as to not be usable and some have fallen off.The good news is there are gromets on two sides so you most likely will not have an issue mouting it on your awning.

Very fast shipment. Just as described. Easy to install, no problems with the grommets as stated in other reviews. My opinion its a good price for all that you receive in this kit. It would be totally complete if it came with a carry bag .

This is not made well at all. We had to replace many of the gromets that were not in right, and would not have held. We should have returned it, but did not open it soon enough. We have not used it yet, so I don't know how it shades. The material is also not like the patio-shade at all. Bad purchase!

I like the effect that it made the space under the awning appear bigger to entertain company and conduct outside grilling.

Designed very strong, it blocks so much of the suns rays, i would buy another.It has many eyelets to attach another one to it
