I love Yankee Candle. I was looking for a summery scent for my office, and thought I couldn't go wrong with Citrus Grove. Citrus=summer to me. Well, this scent is very, very spicy. I'm talking Christmas wreath spicy. I had to shelve it for a few months before lighting it, it just felt wrong to use it during the summer heat. I have used it twice so far, had to have the windows open to help "dilute" the scent, as it is very, very strong. Although there is no cinnamon mentioned in the olfactory profile, it is definitely the top note. No citrus, woodsy (my all-time favourite scent category) or eucalyptus scent to be found (as the description says). I am not a big cinnamon fan, I really loathe the scent, and this is as close to the cinnamon scent I can get before gagging. It is not a horrible scent, but a strange one. I sort of like it, I definitely don't love it. It isn't a scent I would throw away, but will just save it for the cooler days. Definitely open some windows when you light it, unless cinnamon is your thing. I personally won't buy this scent again.

The candle is beautiful it looks good smells good and lasts well with very even burn. Creates a lovely scent throughout the whole of the downstairs area creating a warm homely atmosphere.
