Works great for priming 3D prints before final coats of paint. I've used it on multiple prints that ultimately became wall decor. After prepping the prints, the primer was then applied. It does a nice job filling minor imperfections and providing a quality base coat before moving on to the final paint.

Worked perfectly for a 3d printed project. Filled layer lines and was easy to wet sand and apply more layers. Quick dry time.

Works well in general bot sometimes when I spray it on PLA it will peel off. Possibly something I am doing wrong but I mean it's fairly simple to spray this thing and I'm not doing any prep on the part when it goes well or when it does not. Anyway the price is good.

DEAR COSPLAYERS & 3D PRINTERS. everyone has heard of using rustoleum for props and 3d prints, but is it actually worth it? I can say 100% yes. fills gaps, dries quick, easily sandable, and affordable…but you have to know HOW to use it, so here’s some tips from someone who’s used this primer a lot! (picture is credentials for my info) - run it under warm water for a few minutes before spraying for even smooth coating. this is especially important in the winter. - do not be afraid to apply a THICK coat, you will end up sanding it all down. save yourself the hassle and don’t worry about perfection or drip lines -do not use rustoleum to fill in large crevices or gaps, this product is for thin lines and bumps! - wet sand with a medium grit in circular motions! my process is bondo>sand>rustoleum>sand>rustoleum>sand>paint. I get perfect results from this, but you can always just do one layer if you don’t need perfection.

My husband really likes this product. Uses it on his old car restoration.
