80750 1875-Watt Tourmaline Ceramic Ionic Salon Hair Dryer with Diffuser, Fast Dry Low Noise Blow Dryer, Travel Hairdryer for Normal & Curly Hair, Soft Grip, Black

I bought this to use as a spare. I have very curly hair, so I wrap it in rods to make it less curly. (It pulls on my scalp and gets painfully dry otherwise.) And, I use a dryer with a soft hood attachment to dry my hair every night to increase the odds that it will be dry or close to dry in the morning and most mornings for a few minutes if the hair is still damp. I find this helps me to gently bake moisture in and enjoy frizz free. luscious curls. BUT, my sister takes my dryer without asking and then does not return it before I need it, so I bought a spare (for the 2nd time as she took my last one) so that I am not inconvenienced. I tried it today and I LOVE it! It is so much nicer than my usual one. First, my old one was 2000W whereas this one is 1875W, and yet the air flow is amazing and it can get very hot. But, the cool setting (required to not melt the soft hood) is easy to tolerate. So, there is a lot of air flow and decent heat on the Warm, Medium settings. Also, I love how the attachment snaps into place. (Typically, I have to use plumber's tape to make the attachment stay on but still be removable.) And even through the barrel is small and there is a gap around the soft hood hose, there is very little air escaping through there. And, I can tell that the air is hitting all sides of my head at once. The motor is also a bit quieter than my old one. And, I thought my old one was pretty good. So, I couldn't be happier... well, yes I could. My old 'universal' diffuser attachment does not fit this dryer. And, now that I know how great this one is, I will need to find one. But, still, this is one of the best dryers that I can recall every buying. So, I am kinda glad that I decided to combat the borrowing with a backup.

Great dryer...replaced my old one (same brand). Dryer is not loud n noisy m dries well.

I bought this Andis 80750 1875 Watt Hair Dryer in Black. It was rated well & it came with a Diffuser, Fast Dry, Low Noise & a Soft Grip. I especially like the Low Noise & the Settings buttons, plus it dries longer hair quickly. The only drawbacks are that it’s Larger (takes up more counter space) & also heavier than the folding travel hair dryer I had previously. Would recommend it. The cord length is good.

My wife used one of these while on vacation where it was provided by the hotel. She loved it! Did some research and found that hotel chains choose this hair dryer due to longevity and features. Was really tired of buying her hair dryers that cost 3-8 times as much - that failed after a few years.

The main reason I was looking for a hair dryer is that the one I have is so loud. This one had a couple reviews that commented it was pretty quiet, so I thought it might a good replacement. I was not disappointed! The hair dryer is well a made and even on the high setting is quiet enough that I can hear other sounds/noises while drying my hair. I like the three temperature settings, too. The "hot" setting isn't so hot that it's uncomfortable, but I prefer the "warm" setting. It is a couple inches longer than my other hair dryer, so still getting used to that, but I'm very pleased with the purchase.
