Marvel Legends Series Groot, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 6-Inch Action Figures

Ok I think this is my first review on a marvel legends or any hasbro 6” for that matter, I thought seeing as I own just short of 300 legends, approx 100 Star Wars black and all the ghostbusters plasma series that came out a while back I’d be an authority on the subject by now 🤣 Ok so the articulation on marvel legends has always been pretty good, this groot is no different and out of the whole birthday score I got today, he is my favourite by far. Now then, he’s not quite as articulate as sone of the more acrobatic figures I own from the same line (spider man, daredevil etc) but groot isn’t an acrobatic character so I wouldn’t see the point of throwing in extra joints just for the sake of him being able to touch his toes! The likeness and detail are absolutely superb on this deluxe action figure and deserves every bit of his deluxe status, for £34.99 from Amazon I’d say he’s a bargain, especially with most spider man figures coming out at the same price, with our groot here you get a pretty decent amount of accessories, two sizeable wing things, two extra hands and what I found the most cool but didn’t realise it was included, the little baby raccoon that fits nice and snug in the palm of his hand 👌 The overall quality of these later figures from hasbro have been on the up and quite frankly I think that most figures released at £25 these days is a more than reasonable amount considering inflation, I know some people disagree with me and are quite vocal about it in some of the social media groups I am in but fir me I think it’s absolutely fair, this groot for £34.99 is of the same high quality I’ve come to expect from the marvel legends series. If you are a guardians fan I cannot recommend this action figure enough, I love the guardians of the guardians films and their other appearances in the MCU, for me this figure is an absolute must have for any and all collectors of the marvel legends brand ❤️

Great Little detailed figure at a good price.

Lovely well made toy. You can tell it’s a good quality toy

A very large and built groot, the detail of dark green, light green and brown is amazing, makes it more effective then just brown. One thing that irritates me is near the butt there's two tree parts, that gets in the way of the moment in the legs. The wings look great, really adds to groot, even without them he looks great, the wings are not too bulky and fits real well on the back of groot. The baby rocket is a nice addition to this figure, it looks cool. Expensive as it's a BAF with 1 pair of changeable hands, a baby rocket ans some wings but it does look good.

Great toy for my Son. Bigger than expected, solid & with changeable parts. Well worth it!

Can’t comment other than to say it arrived quickly and was a good price in comparison with other retailers.

The wings are great on this character it’s very sturdy and very flexible for £20 the articulation is amazing

Bought this for my 3.5 year old boy. Seems well made, the joints seem a little stiff but better than being loose. Arrived in good shape. Time will tell how it wares. Would recommend!
