We know the trouble a water leak can create in a house. Our finished basement flooded which resulted in tens of thousands for repair costs and many personal items destroyed. If we had known when the leak started, we could have avoided all of it. There are water leak detectors that sound an alarm when water is detected, but I've always been concerned that I may not hear the alarm or I may not be home when it goes off. I wanted a solution that could alert me on my phone if water was detected. The Winees WiFi Water Leak Detector is the perfect solution for this problem. Its central hub connects to my wifi so it can provide alerts wherever I am. It can also be placed in a central location in the house so the siren is sure to be heard if water is detected by any of the 3 sensors that it comes with. They connect to the hub via low power bluetooth, so you can scatter them around the house (e.g. under the hot water heater, in the basement bathroom, in the laundry room, etc). They can all be monitored from the Aidot app. The app will also alert you to low battery warnings from the sensors. Installation was a breeze, although I did have one of the three sensors arrive with a dead battery. But after a quick change, it was ready to go. My wife accidentally started filling a tub where I had placed one of the sensors. It instantly started the siren at the hub station and sent me an alert on my phone. Couldn't ask for more than that!

I came back from a cruise to find out my air conditioner condensate line had clogged up and flooded an area of my house. The same thing happened a few years ago. I ordered this Winees water leak detector that night. Setup was ridiculously easy and done in about 30 minutes. The app is very user friendly. I got the three pack and put one under the kitchen sink, behind the washer and under the AC line, and plugged the hub into an outlet in my hall. I tested each with water and they worked perfectly. You get an adjustable alarm and then an email telling you where the leak is located. Considering the peace of mind this gives, the price is more than reasonable. I am recommending Winees to all my friends snd family.

System includes a Wifi hub and 3 leak detection sensors. Installation involves several steps but the included instructions were good and had it configured and working in about 15 minutes. After installation, it appears that the app and associated configuration can only be installed on a single device. However, in the settings for the app you can add other phone numbers and email addresses for individuals that you want to receive text messages and/or emails when the system detects a leak. Didn't find that info in the instruction booklet and resulted in me having to reinstall everything when I tried to configure the system with another phone. Range of connectivity between sensors and hub seems good. No problems in our set up with some sensors on other floors in our relatively large house. Bottom line, system is worth the cost to have peace of mind that water leaks (like laundry room, water heater, etc) won't go undetected for any length of time. Recommended.

The Winees WiFi Water Leak Detector (3 Pack) has been one of the best purchases I’ve made for home protection. I’ve had a recurring issue with what looks like an overflow pipe in my garage, which connects to the upstairs bathrooms. Every so often, when the pipes clog, raw sewage from the toilets backs up and spews out into the garage — an absolute nightmare. Thanks to this water leak detector, I now get instant notifications via the app, email, and SMS the moment it detects moisture. The last time the overflow happened, I was notified immediately, and I was able to shut off the water and call a plumber before the mess got out of control. That alone saved me hundreds of dollars in cleanup costs and possible damage. Setup was super easy — the sensors come pre-paired with the hub, and everything connected to my 2.4G WiFi in minutes. The 200-meter range is more than enough for my garage and basement. I also like that the alarm is adjustable and can be muted from the app or hub quickly — no scrambling for buttons when your phone buzzes at 2 a.m. The sensors are thin (just 1.8mm) and discreet, and the IP66 waterproofing gives me confidence they’ll last, even in a high-humidity space like the garage. Bottom line: if you’ve got any risk of flooding, backflow, or leaks — especially with older plumbing — this is a must-have. It’s already saved me from one disgusting disaster, and I trust it to do so again.

DO NOT buy this product. I noticed that it automatically powers off every 1-2 months. I would need to unplug and replug to get it to go back online. I bought 2 sets (one for my primary home and one for my secondary home). The secondary home was more of an issue as I would not be there for weeks at a time; hence, I would then not be alerted of any leaks when it would go offline since I would not be able to readily be there to unplug and replug the device as it was far from my primary home. I ended up tossing both sets and getting a new water leak sensor with X-Sense that seems to be working well so far.

Bought the full set in 2024 after AC pan flooded living room ceiling. Bought these 3 additional sensors after furnace relief valve issue. Installed them YESTERDAY & woke up @ 1 a.m. for another furnace issue. Highly recommend. Very easy to connect using the app - add device, scan QR code. I renamed all of the sensors yesterday so when the alarm sounded I knew exactly where to look. I have them near hot water heater, washing machine, AC pan, furnace, kitchen sink & circuit breaker panel. Worth every penny

Aidot is must have in UAE where AC can leak or pipes very unexpectedly while noone is inside the house. Aidot gives me confide that I have control over it. Easy to use and connect.
