I am surprised by how sturdy the shovel and axe are in this Suprock survival kit. It is definitely a great survival kit with lots of great features all packed into one small carry bag. The blades on the shovel and axe are very sharp and the saw on one side of the shovel is solid as is the hammer on the side of the axe. When the extensions are added to either the shovel or the axe they are very sturdy. The spear and knife attachments are also strong enough to be useful. Having a fire starter is a nice bonus. I feel more secure in the case of an emergency having this kit in my car. I am planning to buy another kit for my son.

My wife and I camp very frequently. It is slightly heavy, but of good quality. It is durable and easily portable, it does not have that high of weight.

This thing is great! About a million little items to put together, they all seem excellent quality.

The crazier this world gets the more it makes sense to me to have a few extra tools around the hose just in case and this set allows me to do so without taking up an excessive amount of space. Pretty ingenious idea. Most of the tools fit seamlessly into the shaft.

***EDIT*** A new kit was sent & the extensions seem stronger than the original ones. The compass is also seated differently so might be better than the original. Once I am able to use it I will do a review. Finally got to use the kit after waiting a year to go camping. The first time we used the axe, the hollow attachment tube snapped where it attached so that it was no longer usable. The axe itself comes loose after a few swings & eventually, because it wobbled, one of the rivet things broke, so now the axe is completely unusable. I'm very thankful that we knew how to start a fire using burnable materials & had a lighter because the fire starter wouldn't spark for anything. The compass didn't work properly as it always showed North no matter which direction we were facing. Since this says lifetime replacement, I tried to contact support but the options under "product support" lead nowhere & the option for "problem with the order" doesn't appear since it was ordered so long ago.
