Definitely did the trick and was a life saver while in Capetown. Definitely good value for money. Happy to have had a 2 pack.

Great Adapter-This is NOT a Converter
Just returned from the UK. These worked perfectly as designed, but please remember to check whether or not whatever you plug into the unit is compatible with a 220-240V input. If you plug in a typical 110-120V appliance into this outlet and not compatible with 220V-240V, you will completely destroy it or worse. This an ADAPTER, NOT a step-down CONVERTER, that converts 240V to 120V.

very easy to use and works great.
This adapter worked great in Bangalore India. Even though the hotel had very flexible power outlet connectors that meant I did not have to use these there, they have in very handy at my work office for daily use. I even shared one of them with my co-worker who did not have one for their own use.

Decent for 3-prong devices, not great for heavy 2-prong devices
These were pretty flimsy, with thin plastic that was somewhat translucent. They held up okay with plugs that didn't have weight, but the prong slots are not very tight, so any sort of weight on them was a little precarious. My multi-port USB charger would work, but if I bumped it, it fell out of these adapters. For use with 3-prong plugs, they work well, but for 2-prong devices you might want to buy a better one if you plan to use this for a long time. Hard to know if the ones that cost a dollar or two more would actually be better, or just the same thing at a higher price.
