Good product, straightforward application
Easy to apply, quiets the chain and keeps it cleaner than oils I've used.

A great drip wax lubricant
This is a great product for those that want to try waxing their bike chains. It's important to note that with any wax, you need to have a completely clean chain. This is generally best done with a new bike chain that has been stripped of the factory grease (e.g. with Silca Chain Stripper). This wax is then applied link by link, putting a drop on each roller as you rotate the cranks backwards, applying near the cassette. Waxed chains are not only more efficient (e.g. waste less of your watts), they also drastically reduce chain wear and eventually cassette wear as well (by keeping your chain within spec longer). They are also much cleaner, so you won't get grease all over your hands or legs, if you touch the chain. Typically, I use this product as a "top off", meaning I use Silca immersion wax as the base layer on the chain, and as I need more wax, I drip this lube on top. Typically I may do a full immersion wax every couple of months, with the drip lube every couple of days, depending on ride length (always wipe your chain off with a microfiber towel after each ride). I use this on Tri bikes, road bikes, gravel bikes, mountain bikes and my fat bike... great for all applications.

Worth the effort
After using White Lightning wax for dry conditions for years I decided to try something new, a more modern formula. The reviews here and in the magazines were good so I went for it even though it is pretty expensive in my opinion. I’ve used molybdenum disulfide as a lubricant for other applications for years and have been really satisfied so the tungsten disulfide formulation makes perfect sense. I have a “very last” of the Dura Ace 10s chains and I’d like it to last. I have about 3,000miles on it. While the white lightening was t the best lubricator, it did an excellent job of keeping a clean chain, trapping dirt and then shedding it off (chain dandruff). I stripped it down using boiling water to melt the big chunk a off, the a bath and scrub in acetone, followed by heating in a toaster oven to 400°F to flash off the acetone and remaining wax. Last was a rinse in IPA and then hit it with compressed air. I probably could have gotten every last bit of grime with a degreaser in my ultrasonic cleaner, but I ran out of patience. I lubed it up with a drop on each link pin and then let it sit in a ziplock for a few hours soaking in the stuff. After that I Hing dry it outside. The wax dries clear, the tungsten leaves a gray color. I put it back on the bike (missing link) and back pedaled it for awhile. All was good. After a few hours of “set time” while I mowed the lawn (3+acres, takes awhile) I went for a ride. Out of the gates (garage) it was smooth and silent. I mean really silent! Shifting was excellent. 15 miles later of absolute blissful cycling I could tell it had really worked it’s way into the chain. At the end of 20 miles it was a little noisier but not bad (about like the white lightning right after treatment) and still VERY smooth running and shifting. I’m going to put another light coat of it on now (after the ride) and let it sit overnight for the next ride. Then I’m going to just see how many miles I can go before I really need to top it off again. I’m hoping 200miles or so. The 50-60mi I was getting with the White Lightning was a hassle to keep applying (or rather forgetting to reapply and then spending an hour or so on a bike that sounds like a squeaky old school bus. So far I’m satisfied. I’m not a racer, and the “7 watts of power” supposedly regained from this lube really means nothing to me. I’m old, fat, and lazy (but do get out on the bike ~100+miles a week) and I just want a quiet, smooth riding experience so for me it was worth the cheddar. I’ll try to update this review after a few hundred miles. I’ll add that I am totally happy that my DA chain, even with 3k on it already, is running great and will hopefully last awhile longer.

Best Liquid Wax to date
I've been using a waxed chain for over 3 years now. It's a total game changer. In between waxing, I like to use a drip wax application. I have used four well known prior products, criticisms in general: they tend to gum up and create little wax balls that clog the drive train, or they don't stay on the chain - flaking off early. Ideally, I"m looking for a liquid application that can be used for 3 or 4 applications before rewaxing the whole production. Silca Super secret is a product I've now been using for over 2,000 miles and 4 months. It's the best of the products to date. Good news: no more gumming up or balling up little plugs of wax that need to be cleaned, no more early flaking - I find it lasts about 125 miles in regular riding conditions, and it doesn't seem to wash off in wet conditions too quickly. Bad news: it is nonviscous - thin, not thick, which means you have to be careful applying it so that it doesn't splatter on the carbon wheel rims. There are a variety of techniques to apply - I go by the manufacturer recommendations... massaging it in briefly with a revolution of the chain or two, and apply cautiously to both sides of chain. Wipe the residue off the sides of the chain - no need for this, but do try to get it on both sides, running the chain slowly to prevent splatter, then leave it to dry overnight. And voila! You have a great chain lube for 100-150 miles, before waxing every 500 miles or 750.

Great bicycle chain lubricant, game changer
I thought wax lubricant was nonsense until I tried it. I used this product as a chain waxing trial. I rode a century with this and am happy enough with it to go full hot wax. Surface prep is important. Clean your chain thoroughly. Remove chain from the bike (use the link remover tool), degrease, rinse, isopropyl alcohol. Then drip on this wax to each set of rollers and let it dry overnight. Would buy again & definitely recommend
