This was much better than I expected, everything apart from grit was included. It worked really well, it did need a big compressor and an industrial vac. I was very pleased with the results. It would have been nice to have a spout to connect to the vacuum cleaner, I had to machine one up. The cabinet itself is well made with all the joints sealed, LED light was excellent. I found that the hose for the gun was flexible and just long enough, a few more inches would have been a bonus. As mentioned, even this smaller cabinet and gun need very high volumes of air, a 14 cu ft compressor was only just big enough.

This item was considerably cheaper than it's nearest rival but it works perfectly and efficiently. It's excellent for cleaning all the rust and grime from my 77 Suzuki GT which makes the repainting process a simple operation. It comes with gloves, blaster gun and full instructions but you will need to buy the blasting grit before you can get started. Top class piece of kit for the DIY enthusiast

There are a few issues with this cabinet: First, the gradient on the bottom of the cabinet is not sufficient enough to allow the grit to fall back into the centre. Once you have been using the cabinet for a few minutes, the supply of grit runs out on the centre, meaning you have to either tilt or shake the cabinet to get it back in the centre so the uptake pipe can pick it up. Second, the seal around lid is very bad, when using the cabinet there is a considerable leakage of very fine dust, this is not something that you want to be breathing in. I used duct tape to temporarily seal it, but will be upgrading the seal at a later date. Third, the dust extraction port is only 60mm, this is too large for most ‘hoover style’ of dust extractors and too small for larger ‘Industrial style’ extractors. I bolted on an adapter so I could connect a 100mm pipe to the extractor I use for carpentry. And even this struggled to keep the dust down, this is because of the restriction caused by the 60mm port. I will be changing this later. Would I recommend this cabinet? No, unless they changed the above issues.

Great bit of kit for the money....External packaging is rubbish and risks the cabinet arriving damaged....I was lucky! No airline connector supplied, which is a bit of an oversight as everything else is there. You will need a male thread to male connector of your chosen fitting. Cabinet is well finished, fittings are adequate ( you get what you pay for). In use everything works as it should, except the top door seals are not great, so you may want to beef them up with some sponge draft excluder or the like., otherwise a lot of medium escapes. The internal light is reasonable but if you are blasting for any prolonged period it gets awfully foggy in there and you can see very little. I cured this by purchasing an LED rope light and dropping it into the cabinet, works a treat. I did use it connected to a shop vac, but you will need to rig up your own adapter to connect the vac pipe to the supplied internally mounted air filter. This filter becomes clogged very quickly, but is easy enough to blow clear. All in all, great value for money and you will find yourself modifying it over time, great for cleaning up small pieces, which it does very easily and quickly.
