Is it ok to add it to their food without soaking and adding oil, and still benefit from it?

The carrot pellets need to be rehydrated in warm water and it just takes a few minutes. The addition of a small amount of oil helps to convert beta-carotene to vitamin A, which is a fat-soluble vitamin, and a lot of the benefits in Olewo Carrots come from vitamin A. To receive maximum benefits form the product, you should add the small amount of oil.

Yes, you can use less water if after 10 min not all the water is absorbed. 1 tbsp of carrot pellets to one cup of water is the manufacturer's recommendation, but I know a lot of our customers think it is too watery. Consuming more water actually helps digestion. That's probably where the manufacturer's recommendation stems from.
