I found this to be an excellent product, Thick translucent plastic, robust,easy to use and empty also easy to keep clean after use....The cap is not a 100% seal and it could leak if not emptied straight away...I don't use the cap anyway... I use this bottle vertically, Having just had bladder surgery I pass blood clots, which can be shall we say, explosive when they emerge, this bottle contains all that easily.... its capacity is very good .... Someone in an earlier review mentioned the neck of the bottle as being too narrow, The neck is just over two inches in diameter for heavens sake, either stop bragging or join a circus..

This bottle is ideal for me at night when I don't want to be bothering the rest of the family and restling with crutches to go to the loo. The item's description basically covers all my requirements. Key features for me being: The long neck and narrow fit to comfortably go between the legs, and being large enough to hold a couple of normal wees to empty in the morning. Also the handy snap-fit seal, stops minor spilages and odours escaping. The seal isn't leak proof if a filled bottle was knocked over, so consider you might need one with a screw cap, but for me, I wasn't bothered whether it had a lid or not.

Good for what it does

Although cheap, this is good if you’re a man looking for a bottle to use in bed after hip replacement surgery. It’s slightly narrower than others which means that your legs don’t have to be too far apart to get the bottle between them so that it’s base in on the bed. The long neck is vital...and is angle enough so that there’s no flow back! Once used, it will stand on its end which means you can stand it upright on the floor without straining...which is beneficial because you’re not then relying at all on the cap to seal it. It has ml markings when standing like this in case you need to know how much you’ve managed to discharge! The only downside is that when empty, it’s not very stable standing on its end and so if you go to bed with it on the floor ready, it can get knocked over. Once you’re aware, it can get managed and the upsides of this bottle far outweigh that one drawback. I’ve tried other bottles that are much more expensive, probably more substantial and with screw caps but this bottle is much better because of its dimensions and ability to end stand.

Great product and can save you from peeing yourself. Great if your stuck on the motorway for hours and hours. Well worth the money

As a caregiver for my 93 year old father, I struggled to solve his bed wetting every night. I tried several other portable urinals including one with a hose but they all failed for 4 main reasons. This product works well for those who sleep on their backs. 1) One of the other products had a sharp ridge at the mouth of the urinal that cut into the inner thigh after just a few nights of use. This product has a rounded off edge at the mouth eliminating that problem. 2) Most other urinals are too wide causing the urinal to disconnect from the patient when they close their legs in a natural sleeping position. This product has a triangle shape to the main body when looking at it from one end allowing the patients legs to rest snugly against two of the triangle sides in a natural position. The weight of each leg bearing down on the sides of the urinal prevent it from moving when the patient closes his legs or moves a little. 3) Another advantage of this product is its long neck with the correct downward angle making it easier to position on the patient and ensuring liquids flow downhill into the container area. 4) The handle is sturdy and connects to the urinal at 2 ends instead of one. Other products have flimsy handles that bend causing them to leak. The only improvement I would like is to have a hose connected so I don't have to empty it 2-3 times a night.

Obviamente el mayor problema para mí con la orina es su olor. La tapa encaja perfectamente suprimiéndolo; lo cual además no permite fugas de la orina (no he probado a darle la vuelta completamente llena). Su diseño es distinto de las típicas de hospital: se sujeta mejor plana (eso es una apreciación) pero además su culo permite apoyarla establemente de pie. Su cuello largo evita la sensación desagradable de mojado que alguna vez con la de hospital tienes. NO ES que le hayan puesto una tapa a la de hospital sino que es un diseño distinto. El único pero es el precio pero tengo la sensación de que ya llevo 1 mes con ella (la uso por las noches para evitar levantarme adormiscado) y repetiré su compra pues es de calidad suficiente y no es un artículo que estés cambiando frecuentemente.
