I’ve been drinking this for over 15 years and I love the bold taste. I was so happy to see it on Amazon. The price was right too. But just like muvywriter mentioned, the taste is different. All the bottles I received from Amazon were made in Thailand and, honestly, they taste just like the light green version. I also have a bottle made in Taiwan that I bought elsewhere, and I did a side-by-side comparison. The issue is with the Thailand-made bottles, not the other way around. Hopefully Ito En sees both my comment and muvywriter’s and looks into this. It’s already hard enough to find a place that carries this tea, so please make it easier for us to get the authentic flavor we’ve loved for years. Thank you.

Missed getting this stuff for ¥100 at Lawsons. Was pleasantly surprised to find a U.S. market version on Amazon! Taking one star off because it’s a little weaker than the Japanese one. This is much stronger than normal green tea, probably more caffeine and certainly more bitter (in a good way- that’s why I love it.)
