INCREDIBLE VALUE
I'm a very big fan of the Bose QC35s but with something that nice, I don't want to sweat all over it and break it, I can't wear those when I'm crawling around underneath a car, and I can't wear those while driving. Next I ended up going to earbuds and settled upon the Jabra t75 active because you can swim in them so I figured that's pretty much indestructible no matter how much I sweat. I found that they're great for the gym, they're great on bike rides, but when I'm crawling around underneath a car, they sometimes fall out. Or if you're doing a plyometric workout and jumping around a lot, they are also inclined to jostle loose. They also automatically turn off which is a feature I don't particularly care for because the reset is inconvenient. Reconnecting them to the phone often involves putting them back in their case when they've turned themselves off and long pressing the button on each earbud isn't turning them back on. It's also very easy to kill the battery in a given day. They work for 6 hours at best. That brings us to this gem, the Anker Soundcore Life U2. A good friend of mine, who's a mechanic, always used to the style of this style of talk set, I now understand why. The battery life is incredible. I have no trouble getting through a couple days without having to recharge this thing having it on standby all day, listening to things like podcasts throughout the day, conducting my phone conversations (both work and personal), exercising, chores, amateur mechanics, or even soaking in a jacuzzi. They've got an IP7 waterproof rating which I find so incredibly useful. It's very convenient to pull the earbuds out when I need to and they conveniently hang ready to be placed back when I'm done talking to whoever as approached me in the middle of whatever. I also like that the back side of each earbud contains a magnet so that they can clip together nicely so as not to wander around if you tuck them into your shirt. The only trade-off I have experienced is on the flat bench at the gym, sometimes the neck portion will slip off, but the ear buds are secure enough in my ears to where I don't lose the set and I can easily place the neck portion back. Tucking the neck portion into my shirt instead of wearing it over the shirt also helps alleviate the issue to an extent. I find myself using my other two sets far less. The other two sets have their uses, but all around, this is the line of best fit for handling everything in a given day. Sound quality for both listening as well as voice mic works great. If you're an audiophile, obviously these are not ultra premium for this price point, but they do an excellent job for what they cost. I've fallen asleep in these many times very comfortably which I can't do in the other two, there's always a pressure point with the other ones. I find myself wearing these pretty much all day, every day. And for less than $50, I'm extremely happy with this option not only being the most versatile with the best battery life but also the cheapest and greatest value. Can't go wrong, completely recommend these, they're excellent. They really hit a home run with the form, function, and specs on this talkset.

Perfect for long day (or night!) of work
Guy review. I use these as my work headphones. Work is Warehouse, InfoTech, church cleaning and maintenance, and sometimes live sound.Yes they are big and "clunky" compared to little earbuds. But I am not about to lose these things in a bucket of paint, or while working on a lift, I also wear glasses almost all the time, and these do not have the "over the temple" issue that some have. They include a nice selection of soft ear buds, but the little mounts will basically accept most of the other slip over type ear canal things, the soft rubber or foam things ya know. Also is included are two other outer ear flange thingies to fit or "lock" the bud in place. I have found they hold very well.Battery charge holds well, and does show on iPhone. I have left music running 8 hours at work, and have yet to have the dreaded "Shutting down" message. I do like the simple startup and shutdown sounds. Also the integrated voice is pleasant and not annoyingly loud. I have not had any issues of it dropping from my iPhone 12 mini, nor connection problems. It will connect at the same time as a JBL Flip 4 speaker, to use the headset as a phone, though you may have to tell your phone or other device which unit to play your music or sound through.Sound quality. Very good. For reference I usually use a pair of Sony MDR-V6 headphones for listening to other things at home. The key to these is ear bud fit and seal. Very good bass and clarity if you find the right seals. Can you hear your music over an 85db Commercial Vacuum? Yes.Buttons. Simple 3 button setup, on the left side, on the inner side of the band. I find the buttons, for as small as they are, easy to use. The middle one is slightly raised, enough though that I can feel it with rubber dipped cloth work gloves while working. Simple press of the other two buttons raises and lowers volume, longer press switches tracks. I have not played with the buttons much more than that to figure out FF/Reverse. Middle button is usual Power/Call answer-end/Play-pause.The earbuds have magnets, they do attach to each other well. the cords are "long" so as others have pointed out they dangle. I usually tuck them into my shirt if not in use. Or I will magnet them Behind my head on my neck.Yes it uses a USB-C connector, for charging. Yes they include a cable (USB A to USB C). No they don't include a power puck. Are they worth 40 bucks? Heck yes!
