The ULTIMATE controller for PC/Switch
Dudes, I am blown away by the quality of the 8Bitdo Ultimate! (Bluetooth version)Sports 22-hour battery life and can toggle between Bluetooth (native Switch and PC) or 2.4ghz which is an alternative method which directly connects it to the included exclusive USB Dongle (this is optional and it works with Switch natively). The Joysticks are using the magnetic Hall-Effect sticks that will NEVER DRIFT due to them never making contact to wear out the senosr like normal sticks. Even Pro Controller CAN get drift! They also feel GREAT!Also the back triggers are full ANALOG which means that you can actually use this with racing games that detect the level of pressure you apply for the gas. Also this means you can use them with GameCube emulation like how in Sunshine you could lightly hold the FLUDD trigger to walk while you squirt OR full press to become stationary and aim you FLUDD squirt. The D-Pad feels extremely classic and it is MUCH MUCH MUCH BETTER than the Pro Controller's D-Pad, which is garbage. It also seems to not give false diagonals like MANY Switch controllers do; even the Pro Controller does this and it SUCKS! It's like how if you slide from pressing right to left repeatedly and sometimes the damn thing detects up or down. I HATE this! The buttons feel great and have a ounded top like an Xbox controller. They are also symmetrical unlike the slightly oval positioning on the Pro Controller. It must be noted that Plus and Minus buttons are in a completely sensible spot!!!It comes in white and black and the charging station matches the color as well. The charging station is powered by an included Type-C cord which connects to the Switch or any USB honestly. It surprised me when I seated the controller that it lights up while it charges and this looks very appealing. Also pictures won't do it justice, but the charging station makes it look like it's on it's own personal display stand, which is deserves and it hides the 2.4ghz dongle.

Feel so relieved to find a controller I can count on
I got so tired of spending absurd money on "Elite" Xbox controllers and I finally broke free from them with this controller, which is an amazing value for the price. The charging dock is super elegant, when you pick the controller up off it it automatically powers on and connects, when you drop it back down on the dock it shuts off and disconnects automatically, very clean performance. My last Xbox Elite controller I started getting stick drift after just a few weeks even. I'm a year in to my first one of these 8bitdo Ultimates and have no issues whatsoever with it. It's just so refreshing to get actual value for your dollar after years of being frustrated with wasting money on controllers that are supposed to be top tier.Overall these things have a super elegant form factor with durability that the "elites" just don't have, all at a very affordable price. Get one or better yet, get two.

Nearly Perfect
I’m using this for PC 99% of the time as a disclaimer. This controller thus far is better than my official Pro Controller. It has a nice texture, face buttons and Dpad feel much nicer than the Pro Controller, analog triggers add more versatility for those that need them, and can be calibrated if not. Using this on PC is super intuitive. A switch on the back let’s you toggle from Bluetooth to 2.4Ghz. I only use gyro for emulation so 2.4ghz is the better option most of the time which makes it appear as an Xbox controller. The sticks are the main selling point here however. I opened up a visual of the controller on Steam and both sticks were at 0,0 which I’ve never seen before on any controller in the past. Perfectly at center and very precise movement. I’d say the only thing the official Pro Controller has going for it above this one is the ergonomics. The handles on this controller are less slanted which can feel not as good. I think otherwise this controller is near-perfect, and if they make a revision with the only difference is the controller being housed in an Xbox Series X controller shell with everything else unchanged, it would be an 11/10.
